Paddle # 2 for me

My first upgrade after going the beginner starter pickleball paddle. Major difference in size of sweet spot and power. Slightly heavier but not too heavy, which powers through the ball with less effort. Slightly better sound. This could be all I need for years. My previous paddle was the SLK neo

Good paddle but doesn’t last long

Good paddle overall but isn't durable. Only lasted 3-4 months until dead spots formed.

Love the paddle and franklin has good customer service. I had some questions about this paddle and they immediately replaced it with a new one. Love it

Great paddle for the price

Been using for about 4 months and love it. Added some lead tape to the throat and top and able to get a lot power and top spin, even with the coating mostly worn off. It's the perfect paddle if you are a tennis player looking to try the game out but doesn't want to shell out the big money quite yet but wants to use something that is significantly better than the typical starter paddles.

Broken promise

I bought this paddle twice and both times it broke in the same spot after maybe using each one less than 10 times. I did not witness the first one break but I was told broke during a spike. I was using the second one today when it just snapped as I was serving a ball. Before the paddles broke, I did like the feel of the paddle in my hand. It felt like the balls made nice contact with the paddle. I bought each paddle at a sale price. The color I like was double the price so I settled for the black one. I will not buy this again.

grip on the handle and paddle surface

Just started praying and compared to the loaner paddles this is a big upgrade. The handle grip is very nice and keeps good grip even after sweating. The paddle surface has aa grip surface , and I look forward to seeing how it can give an advantage. I really hope it lasts me a while.

Best Paddle for the money

I played with the 13mm BJ Franklin paddle since I started playing PB over a year ago. As all newbies to the game of PB, the tendency is to bang the ball with very little drop game. Decided to try the 16mm Franklin to help improve my soft/drop game. Best move I made. I have better control and am able to reset much easier. Stayed with the Franklin paddle cause the price is right as compared to other high end, more expensive paddles. Good job Franklin!

Great racquet

I was new to Pickleball and did some research. I found this to be a great racket. I’ve tried others since and found this to be the one for me. Grip, weight, size. I liked it so much I got a second one.

Great paddle. Except edging came loose!

Very good paddle in all respects except that the edging has come off! I didn't realize until an experienced player noticed the ball dies on hitting my paddle. I've only had it for 4 months. Pictures attached.

Longer handle length allows for comfortable 2 handed backhands.

Great paddle for two handed players. 16mm core and extra length allows for power while maintaining control. You don’t need a $250 paddle if yours accentuates your strengths. Very satisfied.
