Well made, comfortable, useful off the field as well
Overall, this is a nice wristband. The band itself is well-made -- stretchy enough to fit comfortably on a range of forearm sizes, but not so stretchy that it feels binding. The seams are tight and well-made. It feels like it will stand up to a decent amount of abuse. The flap attaches with Velcro. The Velcro is well-attached to the band and plastic pouch, and stays shut securely. The plastic is pretty thick and clear. In addition to the intended use, this makes for a good item for runners who want to carry a license, credit card, or a single key. All will fit into the pouches (although the key needs to be thin, and not have a plastic housing such as a car key). I could live with the Franklin logo being smaller (I have it in black, and the white logo really stands out). Other than that minor issue, no complaints.

Very handy...
This is made out of stretchy material like an ace bandage so it should fit any wrist size. It's like a sleeve and not a wrap. It has 3 pouches, one on the outside, one on the flipside and another one on the material itself. It doesn't say how you are supposed to clean it but I am not sure I would put this in a washing machine although it would probably be okay. (Better put it in a bag or something though because it would probably get lost in there somewhere.) I think I will just soak mine. The pouches close with Velcro. Other things like a credit card and a key (flat type stuff) could also fit into the pouches if you wanted to use it for something else than what it was intended for. It weighs 3.2 ounces and measures 4 inches by 6 inches. The pouches are slightly smaller. Made in China. The word Franklin is stitched into the material on outside. The edges are hemmed. Since the material is stretchy it doesn't offer much support, but then that isn't what it was designed for. It's made well but seems a little expensive for what it is.

Strong elastic, good sixe panels
I coach youth flag football, and for many seasons I have used QB wristbands for all my players in my spring passing league. It is just easier to communicate plays to the field. The Franklin wristband is like most others I have used. It has a strong elastic band that will stay secure over the seasons. I have never had a problem with the elastic band wearing out. The clear panels are made of plastic and you can put two sheets of plays in the flap, and one sheet in the pocket attached to the band. They are large enough that I can slide sheets of paper in them without any difficulty. This is a great learning tool for the kids. I have used them as young as 10 years old, and have had no problem with the kids understanding what to do. By the end of the season there will be 45 plays listed in each wristband.

Pretty good-standard wristband.
My husband has coached football for years and this is comparable to most other quarterback wristbands. Nothing "spectacular" about this one. After a dozen or so wearings it becomes weathered (slightly foggy) and of course stinky. You can throw it in the wash but it can distort the plastic so be careful to wash it in cold and let it dry completely by air. The window on this wristband is smaller than other wristbands, but "average" in regards to most other bands. The latest wristbands they have been using in high school are slightly bigger. This isn't good or bad, just something to note. The velcro can become less "stick together" after time because of use, we usually try to take a tooth brush to them before we wash them to clean it the best we can-which helps. This is a three window wristband. The size of arm this will fit is universal to an extent. The larger forearm (if you are built like Ben Roethlisberger) will probably have a problem, but overall it should fit most junior high/high school students. Overall, decent wristband.

Strong and Reliable
I like the Franklin Sports Quarterback Wristband because it is made with quality parts. The elastic sleeve is strong enough to keep the three plastic windows for plays securely on the wrist. The plastic window will never fall off as it is securely attached to the elastic sleeve. The plastic windows will not flip around in a wind, because it is securely anchored to the elastic sleeve with a strong, long piece of Velcro. I was thinking that the Quarterback Wristband could be used for other things such as: a map keeper for bikers or hikers, exercise routines for those who exercise, chess moves for chess players, and a list of things to do, in order that they need to get done for chiefs, caterers, or busy mothers. Good stuff
Let's start with the one thing I don't like: the wristband is made to on either arm, so the elastic is the same on both ends. Which means it's tight on end and loose at the other. Takes some getting used to. Now, I'm not much of a quarterback anymore. But my son has enjoyed adding the "realism" of a wristband to playing football with his friends. I, personally, have enjoyed the funny looks I receive at the grocery store as I flip through the list. The plastic wipes of easily to see plays and writing that mud might obscure. It's going to tear with too much use, because that's what this thin plastic does. Count on one season, but not much more.

Love this for teaching Line Dance
Ok, so I am not the intended audience for this wristband, but when I saw it, I knew it would work for me! I teach line dance once a week to a group of seniors. I often need just a reminder where to start and I can finish teaching the entire song. I usually put these "reminders' on pieces of papers on the floor in front of me-and in front of the class. With this wristband, I am able to write my hints on small cards, glance at my wrist and keep it moving. I can keep several of the cards in the back case and keep the dance that I need on the front. This is perfect for teaching.
