Soft socks with a very low cut on the sides

I'm a size 11 in women's shoes (9.5 in men's), and these GAP Mens No Show Socks in medium-large are a good fit. I usually have to wear men's socks because my feet are longer for a woman, but I'm not sure what shoes I'll be able to wear these with. They come up very high at the top, so regular flats won't work with these. They are also very low cut on the sides, causing my sneakers to rub up against my skin. I also wish they were a little higher in the back because, despite the silicone strips, these socks are cut too low to stay in place while walking. I can imagine that on more sturdier men's feet, they will come even lower. Although these socks feel soft and comfortable and appear to be of high quality, they are only suitable for a very limited range of shoe styles.

Low Cut No Shows – Similar to Liners – Suitable for Maintaining No Socks Look

The GAP no show socks are of the low cut type that are more like my wife’s liner socks than my no show socks that I wear with my trainer shoes for my 80 minute walks. Like good liner socks, they have silicone stripes to stabilize the heel. They have extra cushioning in the toe, bottoms and back of the heel. Although I am more used to the no show socks that cover all of the foot with tops that stop just below the top of sneak; they are comfortable and soft in the areas that they do cover. When these were ordered the online description caught my eye with the reliable brand the GAP, no show socks, and 100% cotton. What arrived was indeed GAP quality, but more like liner no show socks and 81% cotton with 12% polyester and 2% polyester. At the time of this writing, the description did not indicate low cut. If you are looking for good quality low cut no show liner socks that are mostly cotton, then these are for you.

Good quality, run small

Overall the quality and color are what you would expect from Gap. I wear a size 13 but went with the medium/large as I don’t like a loose fit with no-show socks, but I should have selected the large as these were way too tight for me. And they are just a just a touch too large for my wife (size 7) so I don’t think I’ll get much use out of them, which is my own fault for not getting the correct size. Make sure you get the appropriate size and these will be fine for use.

Very Comfortable and Soft No-show Socks (86% cotton)

I have ordered the size MEDIUM-LARGE since I wear US size 10 dress shoes. Overall these socks are very well made and they are extremely comfortable. I love the fact that they are mostly made of cotton fabric (86%, not 100%) which breathes very well. I put them through a cycle of washer/dryer and they came out in great shape and color. Heels have silicon strips inside providing a good grip on the skin which is a must for these kinds of socks. Overall, this is a decent 3-pack for a good price point. I sincerely hope that you will find my review helpful.

Fit as expected

This is a pack of 3 pairs. They're more than I would usually spend on socks. They feel more substantial than other no-show socks I've worn.

High quality!

There’s extra layer on the bottom and makes it so comfy! And the elastic band on the heel helps them stay where they are. Great!!

Great, but not 100% cotton

These are very nice no-show socks. They have a nice soft terrycloth inside, a strong center band, a reinforced toe, and 4 silicone stripes at the heel to prevent the socks from slipping. They're not thin & flimsy which is great. I was expecting 100% cotton as advertised but these have 10% polyester. Not a big deal for most, but if your feet have a negative reaction to polyester (like mine do), it's important that this material be identified. On a whole, I'd give these 5 stars, but because of the inaccurate description, I gave them 4 stars.
