Soft and comfortable

I like this shirt. I am self conscious about my arms and the sleeves seem to ride up with the elastic but I get a ton of compliments when I wear it and it's soft and comfortable.

Great material but…

Great material beautiful pattern. However the fit was short in length but it did fit everywhere else. If I got a size larger it would be too big in the sleeves and in the bust so again the length is short but the rest fits. I guess if you’re petite this is perfect for you.

Cute blouse to be worn alone or under a blazer.

Cute blouse, love the fit. I’ve worn it alone with jeans and with a red blazer and black slacks to work. It can be dressed up and down. I get a ton of compliments on it.

Liked the fabric, not the fit.

The fabric was a perfect color and feel, but the fit was not as shown in picture. The sleeves and cut were too short and I'm 5'2" 130lbs. The blouse hit right at my waist, giving me a boxier appearance than I already have. I sent this back.

Weird Fit But Okay.

Not a fan of the inside material feeling. This is cut weird for my shape and size. 5’9 165 34DD. Was not a fan. Of course I tried before I buy’ed and forgot to return on time and now I’m stuck with it. If you got this far don’t be like me and avoid.

Lovely, but...

I fell in love with this GAP Women's Short Sleeve Puff Sleeve Top immediately when I saw it. The cherry oak velvety fabric (90% poly/10% spandex) is a gorgeous soft maroon which appears darker to lighter, depending on where the light is shining on it. The neckline is rounded with a vertical line opening in the front. It's edged with a collar of the same fabric, and the shirt's fabric is softly gathered beneath the collar. The sleeves are a soft, short-sleeved puff with elastic that hits just above the elbow. The shirt's hem falls between the waist and the hip. In terms of the fit, the large did seem a bit large to me (I imagine I should have ordered the M). I'll be wearing a camisole under the top as the drop from the collar is a bit low for my preference. The sleeves are beautiful and the fabric feels--and looks--gorgeous. (This is not a color that's normally in my wheelhouse but it is GORGEOUS.) The top would look fantastic with black pants or even with jeans. Or with a straight skirt. My only issue is that this shirt arrived with no tags. (Okay, sometimes that happens.) But unfortunately this shirt had been worn. In the photo above, you can see white streaks crisscrossed at the place where the seams for the shirt and the sleeve meet--which are deodorant stains. How disappointing! I used a generous amount of Spray 'n Wash on the stains and soaked it in detergent and water before I ran the shirt through the washing machine. The deodorant marks did come out. I might expect that to happen in a department store (as clothes are tried on and then returned to the rack) but it was unpleasant to receive it in this condition from the GAP's storefront. Overall, I'm quite happy with this romantic velvety top. (I just didn't prefer getting a deodorant-stained one.)
