Worth It

This hose is great extends easy, recoils well, but fast so be careful, otherwise it’s a pleasure to use vs. a chore to recoil. Considering purchasing a second one to replace the hose bib in my yard.

Easy To Use and Functions Well

We are very happy with the unit. It dispenses the hose and retracts well. We found it easy to install and remove from the wall to store in the winter. We did request support from their customer services and were very pleased with their quick and professional response. We would highly recommend this product.

Very high quality!

Very durable the ability to extend the hose then have it reel it in itself is great very effortlessly! Only down side is it only fit Gardena products but I knew that going in not a big deal though.

Poor water flow

The retractable housing and the pop-off connectors are great. However, because of the decreased diameter of the hose itself (German vs. standard North American), and because of the severely decreased opening in the nozzle attachment due to the pop-off feature, the water pressure is greatly decreased. This renders the whole assembly less than ideal for chores such as washing a car or deck where full water pressure is needed, or for attachment to a sprinkler, where the distance that the sprinkler sprays is important. Also, units sold in North America should come with standard size fittings that attach to standard size spigots or nozzles. One shouldn't have to spend extra money just to be able to change nozzles.

Omg this is awesome

The media could not be loaded. Just installed this tonight and it took me less than 5 minutes to water my back yard plants and I didn't have to wrestle kinks and a muddy hose and there was 0 leaking. I just planted a rose in the far corner of my yard and it was no big deal pulling the hose all the way over there, around 80 feet away. The retracting function was smooth and the installation was easy. The only challenge was finding the right size metric masonry drill bit here in the US. Didn't want to try using 1/2 inch bit (slightly larger than 12mm recommended) since the unit is heavy. So far I'm in love and I hoped it holds up for many years. No leaks at the faucet or at the spray end.

Great hose, poor connectors

The concept behind this product is amazing, and it functions as designed, but the connectors, especially the quick connct pieces, leak. I can't leave a hose timer hooked up to this because of a constant drip. The default adaptor pieces are plastic, so you need to purchase accessories on top of the already expensive product. For the price, I would expext them not to cheap out using plastic connector pieces. I contacted support and was routed to Canada dor North American support. Contact info I had to search for myself and no one would talk to me u til I provided a receipt and photos. They are sending me some replacement adaptors, but considering the ones I have are brand new, sending me more plastic will not likely stop the drip. I ordered more metal pieces, sigh. So close with this product, I hope they get it together on service support and quality.

Awesome product

Love the retention device. Makes it easy to put away after a day of pressure washing or cleaning the car. A little difficult to drill into brick mostly because the screws are for 12mm and Americans use fractions.

Awesome !!

Love this unit. Had a hose I fought with every year and replaced frequently. Always had leaks etc. this unit just works. You get what you pay for Works great. Be sure to order a few extra Gardena connectors to quickly be able to add accessories like pressure washer etc

Incredible

Its expensive but worth it. no more kinks or tangles or nonsense. You dont realize just how annoying a hose has been until you switch. You will be able to water the garden or wash your car and wont utter one curse word at the hose. Do yourself a favour and just buy it and mount the hose in a decent space and off ya go.
