I have two of them and they look and work great.

Appearance and built tough - 5 Star ( I have had both of mine for several months they are sturdy nothing has broken, and their weight is perfect not easily knocked over but light enough they can be picked up and moved. ) [Do not set heavy things on the lid it will dent it] Features: The bag storage on the back side of the can - 3 star (food and stuff can get in there if you don't have bags in it.) The pedal step - 5 Star- it sturdy and works great, also the lid can be set to remain open. I have learned a trick from the cleaning industry where you put a bag in the can and tie and then you put an additional bag in the can that you will put trash in. This is in case the bag you pull out leaks and doesn't leak into the can itself. The design of the trash can make this process difficult. you lift the entire top assembly up and put your base trash bag in to capture leaks but the back portion where they put the bag storage part makes it difficult to tie your bag. It is still do able and I recommend you folks do it. The other issue I have with the trash can is when you step on the pedal you are to put your new trash bag in and drop two metal chrome rails to lock the new bag in place which is good. Only they need to be along the edge of the trash can itself, so you don't have to clean the rim of plastic inside of the trash can all the time. I am hoping they will redesign the trash can with reduction of having to clean the inside rim because the trash bag doesn't cover it. It is still by far the best "trash can" you wouldn't mind have sitting out in the open.

I currently have a 13 gallon stainless steel garbage can and it filled up fast. This 20 gallon is much bigger and it looks better in my kitchen. Really makes the kitchen look upscale.

Really like the size of trash can, and the rings do a good job holding the trash bag in place. I did have an issue with the trash lid hinge breaking about a year after use. Customer service did a great job promptly sending me a replacement. I give customer service 5 stars. I'd recommend it.

Absolutely Love It

It’s easy on the eye, my kids love changing the trash & it’s 5 of us so it holds a good days work of trash. I couldn’t take a 13gal anymore.

Bought 4 of these!!! They are amazing! Tried alternate brands and they came dented. These came perfectly undamaged in solid boxes which I use later for moving fantastic quality would never purchase another garbage can. Will Not be sorry about this purchase! Love it - solid Unit

20 Gallon Version is a GREAT large kitchen trash can

I can't believe I'm reviewing a trash can. However, I thought I should write this review because, due to my frustration at having to constantly empty my kitchen trash, I spent many hours looking all over for a LARGE kitchen trash can. I even looked at a bunch of commercial trash can options. After much research, I ended up with this one. I've been very happy with it. The 20 gallon version isn't overly large or bulky, meaning that it doesn't look out of place in my kitchen, but it holds a lot of trash (I use 30 gallon heavy duty black trash bags in it so when I pull the bag out I am able to put a bunch of additional stuff in the bag before I take it to the outdoor bin). Once you figure out how to use this trash can, it holds the bag securely and out of sight and it is easy to empty. Now, with this larger can, I only need to take out my kitchen trash once or twice a week versus four or more times a week previously. That makes me happy. I have two quibbles. The first quibble is that this trash can is expensive, but that being said if someone stole it from me (who is going to steal your kitchen trash can?) I would immediately buy another one. So I guess the price is fair to me (and, in fact, after buying this one I also bought the same can in a smaller size for another area of my house). The second quibble is that the can has "GLAD" embossed on its lid, and this seems impossible to remove or to cover up in any reasonable way. This kind of thing irritates me, probably out of proportion to how much it irritates other people. In a nice, clean, well appointed kitchen, I would rather not be advertising for a trash bag company, but although this annoys me I am living with it because of the extra efficiency this trash can gives me.

Damaged in Shipping but best Utility of a trashcan ever

I love the 20 gallon-it’s so tall, my dogs aren’t tempted. My double simple human cam for recycling and trash needed to be replaced. No garbage sorters here for recycling so we needed a new system. The step opener is so easy and smooth. The top system is GREAT at holding the trash bags and easy to put in. No more finger pinching like my old one does. I wish it hadn’t been damaged b/c I don’t want to be without a can while it’s being returned/replaced. Buying the 20 gallon bags will get frustrating I imagine but hopefully I can use lawn bags at some point if $$ or options are unavailable.

Best Garbage Can Ever

This garbage can is large and takes full-size 74L garbage bags. I have had it for 9 months and it looks as good as the day I got it. It does not have an interior liner but if you put the bag in properly it is almost impossible for garbage to fall into the bottom. I can fill the bag really full and have no problem taking out the bag. I highly recommend this garbage can, the best I have ever owned.

Really enjoying this garbage can. It is sturdy, nice stainless steel and the garbage bag does not slip. The one thing I would change on it is to have the whole lid come up higher to take the garbage bag out. It gets stuck every time and I have to wiggle the bag around to get it out. It is awkward.

Please with the quality of this produce.

This product solve the recycling trash storage and removal problem in a small kitchen space. The size allows for once a week removal. The stainless steel material goes well with my other kitchen appliances.
