Overall great lamp that I am very pleased with, despite the negative reviews!
I spent nearly a whole month trying to decide whether to order this or not because of so many variations of people's reviews on it and some of the negative feedback. I finally took the plunge because I desperately needed a wall mounted lamp with a plug to free up some desk space. This lamp came several days ahead of schedule (bonus points), and was in great shape. I consider myself by no means an advanced "handywoman", but I do know how to use a power drill and screwdriver. I mounted this thing in five minutes flat with no problems at all and plugged it right now. I don't know if the manufacturer saw the complaints on here, but the wall plate worked fine for me, and the arm does not bend or sag but just a very small amount, not even enough to notice for me. I am docking a star only for two reasons that are very small and do not affect my overall satisfaction with this - the screws on the side of the mounting place do tend to strip easily if you overuse the power screwdriver. And, it would have helped the mounting cover/plate stay a little more stable if there had been a screw to drill into the top instead of just on both sides. This would stabilize it even better and leave no questionable sag or wobbliness. Nevertheless, I am truly happy I bought this and got it for my workspace. I currently have a 60W bulb in, and I agree that a 40W is likely better, so that is what I'm about to buy next!

Nice lamp for a headboard
We have these lamps installed on the headboards of our Airbnb. They work very well!

Very bright and plug came apart after two years
This is a VERY bright lamp and easy to install. We actually picked up a frosted shade and used a lower-wattage bulb than the one included because it was too bright for a sconce near the bed. After 2 years, it would not turn on. I noticed the wire had completely detached from the plug. It turns out this is a "feature" to convert it from plug-in to wired. After some research, I was able to fit it back together, but it still makes me nervous. We are outside the 90-day warranty or I would have returned it.

Great, ideal, looks wonderful
Purchased two of these for our living room because we were tired of lamps. Absolutely love them. the right size, the right design. We love the adjustable arms that allow us to extend from the walls or swivel back toward to walls. The glass globe is very attractive especially with fancy bulbs or colored bulbs. The mount and plug is excellent yet we love the option to hardwire later if we choose. These are lightweight for ease of mounting anywhere. The silver tone with clear cords looks very attractive. My husband and I would highly recommend these light fixtures. Took less than 15 minutes to install each. Please note that light bulbs up to 60w but not above!! Great looking, excellent style.

Convenient installation options, but not dimmable out of the box
Bought this to use for ambiance and as a light to keep the hallway dimply lit at night. Paired it with a nice Edison bulb and made sure the bulb was dimmable so that I could take advantage of the dimming feature on this Globe Electric item, the page reads "FULLY DIMMABLE" in all caps as one of the main bullet points. Alas, this was more than a bit misleading. Despite having its own nob which turns the light on and off, there is no dimming of any kind. Apparently, you need to purchased a compatible dimmer switch and hard wire the light in order to take advantage of this feature. I'd say this is not "FULLY DIMMABLE" at all. And the main reason I got this was so that I could use it as a plug-in without having to wire into my electric. That said, I bought a 40 watt bulb so the light is not overpowering without need for any dimming action whatsoever. All in all, I rated it 4 stars for the convenience and the fact that it is the perfect brightness level for my purpose. I just can't give it 5 due to the "FULLY DIMMABLE" let down.

Missing hardware

Looks nice out of the box but...
This fixture looks good out of the box however as others have stated, the arm and base are not sturdy enough to support the weight of the heavy glass so it sags slightly. I hate to suggest using lighter weight glass as it is more likely to break so the fixture itself needs to be made stronger.

Great price and product - hard to find plug-in sconces
I bought these a long time ago but only just had my contractor put them up on the wall last week. Because of this, I cannot speak to the installation of these, except to say that they were installed on plaster walls in approximately 1/2 hour. Pros: • will work with many decor styles • could spray paint or rub-paint to suit your colour scheme • very sturdy • small profile • clear cord Cons: • no toggle switch on the cord, so you have to reach up and turn them off via a little round turn knob-which is small and awkwardly placed • the swing arm isn’t really swingy-if you want to move this piece around, you will have to tighten or loosen two screws to move the swing arm • the cord could be longer I decided to craft-paint my glass shades in order to soften the look-but the sconces would also look great left clear and adding an Edison bulb style. I’m planning on getting a plug-in adapter with a remote, so I can turn the sconces on and off via the remote - great idea if you’re using these as bedside lights.

Lamps Tilt
Seems a well made product, however due to the design the lamp tilts forward once installed giving an odd impression. Works well and as described, does dim which is a feature I enjoy and works with Alexa,

Easy install, cute light
I bought two of these to use as headboard sconces. I looked all over for plug in lamps with the switch ON the base instead of the cord. It was easy to install, I opened up the back, pulled the cord through the hole at the bottom of the base and ran it behind my headboard. The glass shade might be a tad too heavy for the arm, but the arm is also pretty stiff, wouldn’t recommend moving it a lot. We positioned it and have tried not to adjust much. You can kind of see the bend/drop in the arm due to weight. Other than that, great price, good quality and happy with the purchase. It’s super cute with the Edison bulbs too!
