Very heavy, excellent for table top!

This was a gift for a family member. They had looked a long time for “ old fashioned” salt and pepper shakers. She absolutely adores how much salt and pepper they contain.

Beautiful workmanship

The design is lovely, the height great. It’s a nice addition to a table setting but I think it needed a metal top not plastic. So if you’re looking for a salt and pepper set and you’re not bothered by the plastic top, this is a lovely set. I recommend it.

Too good to be true

There are two problems with these shakers. First, when they arrived one of them was inexplicably leaning to the side. The base was flat, but the entire "body" was leaning. (Think Tower of Pisa) It is weird. And, unattractive. I'm assuming that this issue is unique to my pair so it must be a "fluke." However, the second problem is that the holes in the head of both shakers are too small. The holes are so tight that they literally don't pass even a TINY amount of salt or pepper. I tried "widening" them using a variety of pointed metal objects (scissors, knife, nail, tweezers) I was able to increase the size only slightly. I would have returned but I live in a country where that is an incrediably complicated and expensive process. When I first saw these listed I thought that the price was too good to be true...I guess I was right

Lid is plastic

The lid is a cheap plastic and chips it’s silver color very easily!

Great gift

I received these and was very happy with them. Beautiful design on glass that looks great anywhere. I gifted one of the two filled with dusting powder and the other with bath beads. Tie a ribbon around the neck and they look amazing. Received them on time and were packaged safely. Would recommend.

Crystal Glass but plastic tops.

They look nice, shame they don't have Stainless Steel Tops. If the Holes are a Problem just make the holes bigger with a small drill bit on slow speed. This problem can happen when Moisture in the air clumps the Sugar together inside the shaker. I've even done this with a Stainless Steel Shaker in the past.

6" Tall

Many salt shakers are around 4" tall but these are 6". I wish it said it in the product description but I dont think they do. Otherwise they look just like the picture.
