Arrived in perfect condition and so easy to decorate
I couldn’t find this size cake dummy locally, so I had to buy it online. After the bad experiences of the other reviewers I was a little apprehensive, but luckily mine arrived in perfect condition. And once I started decorating it I was thrilled with the experience. Decorating a dummy is so much easier than decorating real cake. The dummy has those sharp edges, vertical sides, and smooth surfaces that I can never achieve. The fondant draped beautifully, and I only needed a few dabs of solid shortening around the bottom edge to get it to stick. So very happy with this cake dummy. It is a great way to practice my fondant covering technique.

Not worth the money
I am a new at-home-bakery business owner and wanted a cake dummy to practice icing techniques. My dummy arrived dented, as several others have mentioned. If you want a good quality dummy , don’t take a gamble on this one. It’ll work for me, because I won’t be displaying it, but I would be disappointed if I needed it for a demonstration. Definitely not worth the money.

Amazing the fome is very strong, it is amazing for kids or teenagers to use in baking, how I love it most is I love to bake and frost cakes and cupcakes, so I use it for decorating, and I love it, practice

Perfect height and shape
Perfect height and shape, and I like that it came wrapped and sealed in plastic to protect it a little. It was a little more porous than I would prefer, but I can easily fix that when I apply shortening before my fondant as it will fill in all those holes.

Perfect for my wedding cake topper.
Perfect for my wedding cake topper. I have a 6 tier stand and wanted to have something easy to pop on the top. Mine came in great condition with a couple dents but that is to be expected with styrofoam. It’s meant to be covered up. I skipped the icing and did a paper to mimic icing instead. Hot glue, flower and paper. So easy!
