Beautiful quilt!

I bought this quilt for my guest bed. It looks beautiful with the country theme I have in the guest room. It washes well.

Very Awesome Quilt

When I went looking, I didn't find another log cabin quilt at all, so this was the one I ordered. I wanted dark colors because I have pets. This more than satisfies that expectation. The quality is great - it is actual patchwork, not just printed on a single layer of fabric, and then it's swirl quilted over everything, to make it extra secure. My mother used to make log cabin quilts, and won ribbons at fairs with her quilts, so I know quality when I see it. This one is thin and relatively lightweight, but warm. It will be ideal in summer, and with an extra blanket between the quilt and sheets, will be warm enough for the colder months, as well. I got the king size 5-piece set, because I have a queen size bed, but it's on a frame that makes it pretty high off the ground, and I wanted the fabric to hang down on the sides enough to make it look really nice. The pillowcases that came with this were so enormous that I could make a dress for myself out of the fabric, if I wanted to - I have never seen, much less owned pillows that large. But in the end, I laid them over the foot-rail of my bed frame, because my little dog dings her legs on the rail, and I keep it cushioned and covered to keep her from becoming injured or uncomfortable because of it. So those pillowcases went to good use, and worked well because they are so large. I like the throw pillows, although they are a little bit flat for my taste, but they still look nice, and I like the fact that this bedding is a combination of two almost opposing colors (burgundy and teal) so that you can coordinate everything to match both (i.e. I got a burgundy dust ruffle for the bed, and also have a burgundy velvety/furry blanket I put over the bedding for extra protection from my dog, who likes to dig before she lays down, but got light teal sheets, have teal curtains, and have teal rugs). I am very happy with my purchase.

Great quilt

The quilt was worth waiting for. It's an actual king sized quilt, at least for layering on top of another bedspread. It's a comfortable layering weight. The color combination and pattern hides the dog hairs that inevitably end up on our bed. It's a tough enough fabric and has firm stitching that stands up to our 4 (50 pounds each) dogs jumping up on the bed. We didn't notice any odd odors when we opened the package (like some have mentioned).

Beautiful quilt!!!!

I love my new quilt it has so many different colors. after a recent 2nd stay in the hospital in a month I decided I needed something vibrant and uplifting and this did the trick. I have a queen size bed and ordered the king size. The only drawback is the pillow shams are also king size but it doesn't seem to matter in the appearance. I suggest washing this quilt before you put it on your bed as it does have a chemical smell to it as most new fabrics do that are new. I might add after washing it made it much softer. It washed very well I found no holes loose threads etc or any damage whatsoever to this bedspread. I highly recommend this bedspread. I am giving this 5 stars as I love the colors. I did purchase red sheets and pillowcases and when it's time to change my bed I will put those on it and I'm sure it will look even more vibrant. If you like lots of colors and the patchwork style (which this truly is patchwork) this is a must-buy for you. I might add the same exact bedspread was over $400 at a different retailer. So I suggest shopping on Amazon first.

Too short☹️

I have ordered several bedding sets for my King bed from the Greenland line, and they have always fit perfectly. This one is absolutely beautiful, but too short…be prepared to buy a bed skirt unless you want your mattress to show.

Pretty

I've purchased several quilts from Greenland Home and this one is lighter weight, more stiff and had a slight chemical odor when opened. Just facts, I still like it, I'm in FL so lightweight is better. I have a tall queen bed with a 12 inch mattress and got the king. I turned it sideways so it's perfect length on sides but I can cover pillows like a bedspread. Shams are big enough to accommodate puffy or thick king pillows. Not my favorite purchase but with 6 cats, 4 dogs and a 5 yr old I'll get my money's worth lol.

It is exactly as advertised

This was the prefect blanket for what I wanted. The colors are what they look like in the description and the weight of the blanket is prefect for summer. Going to add a flannel sheet for winter and will be toasty warm????
