Functional rain coat

I'm confident this coat and material will keep my son fully dry. That said, a little disappointed there's no inside liner (just the back of the waterproof material which leaves it feeling a little thin and unfinished). Also disappointed that the buttons aren't a 'neon' color as shown (just yellow) and the hood lacks the "HH" insignia that their other rain coats have. I think those details would've made that coat more interesting. Comes with a piece of raincoat material for 'repairs'. Not sure if that's a god sign or not. My son's previous raincoat from Gapkids was superior in terms of construction and features, IMO. Overall, I think a simple, bare bones coat that will of course work, but not my favorite, especially for the price.

Solid waterproof jacket for kids!

Everything about this jacket works exactly as it should. Very waterproof and it doesn't slowly absorb and seep like some other materials. Be forewarned though... the material is NOT breathable. Fair tradeoff for its waterproofness.

Great rain jacket

My little guy hates using umbrellas. But this jacket is awesome because it really keeps him dry, so I no longer need to fuss with him over an umbrella.

I love being a tiny woman

Helly Hanson is a good brand overall, so I'm not shocked to say the quality is great. I'm just lucky I still have the body size of a middle schooler so I can fit in these cheaper kid sizes.

Well made, looks like a bin bag

It's completely waterproof!

Tested for a full day in the Irish rain, no wet shoulders in the evening. My daughter has owned it for three months and still loves it. It's light and folds up small. The material feels a bit like the traditional rubbery rain coat material, but is much lighter and more high tech. A repair patch is also included which thankfully we have not had to use yet. Fits true to size.

Waterproof!!

Great jacket for keeping the British weather out when I’m out with the horses. Unlike other light weight raincoats this does not leak on the elbows or seams!! Bought one for me daughter and then being vertically challenged myself got one for me too!! Excellent but would definitely recommend!!

Buttons on the wrist to stop water going in . Great!

Excellent coat. Fully waterproof and a good fitting hood which is adjustable. Just wish it could be longer.
