AER1 filter (optional) service replacement filter

So first off i recieved this item in two days with prime shipping as was expected. the package was well boxed and protected with packing air pockets. The filter purchased is a option for the Holmes Air Purifier I own and this filters best filtration benefit's are aimed towards SMOKE and odors related to. The first thing noticed once the filters box was open was the orange filter frame with the Aer1 Logo branding in the very middle of the filters housing face, exactly like the Aer1 filter that came with the Air Purifier when purchased except that was a TOTAL filter which was geared towards a bit of everything. over all great product exactly as expected upon arrival.

Works great

Use this to rid my bedroom of stinky dog odors and it worked great! Would recommend this filter.

Odor Eliminator only claims 4 months

I wondered the diff between Odor and Allergy. Nothing only shows the real difference, Odor Eliminator includes a slip of paper that shows the filter life of odor is 4 months & allergy is 12 months. Makes the Odor Eliminator a lot more expensive in life time money. Allergy is better unless you have bad odors.

Not real positive that this filter is any better than the regular but giving it a chance. The filters are great no matter which you use.

Work well for cigarette and cigar smoke

Have these in the Holmes filter on top of our basement fridge to help filter out cigar and cigarette smoke. Works very well, easy to replace

Fits my older machine perfectly .. see photo.

The quality of these filters is just amazing. I actually just looked and looked at the fantastic build quality it was so good .. and the details; well engineered. I was happy with the delivery time (they sent a notice they were running behind schedule -- but very good still); and the packaging allowed them to arrive in perfect shape. This one works in my older machine!! This is important to people, as I was told there was no "OEM" filters made anymore, and saw many people with the same assumption tossing their machines out. This one fits PERFECTLY .. actually better than the cardboard ones that I was using. VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED.

Great price for a two pack

These filters work wonders during the summer time. We leave the air purifier running 24/7 year around and when you look at what these filters can pick up, you're tempted to buy even more filter and air purifiers!

Be aware which filters are "TRUE HEPA" and "HEPA TYPE" do your research.

After my purchase and some research I learned that HEPA filters are not always fully HEPA filters as one would assume. A true HEPA filter is labeled as "TRUE HEPA" and anything else resembling a HEPA filter is "HEPA TYPE". For example, the green allergen filter is True HEPA and the Smoke Grabber (which I purchased) is HEPA-Type. While the smoke grabber appears to be a decent filter, I'm not impressed with the mixing of words, imo, if it's NOT a real HEPA filter, it should not indicate HEPA in any way. I wanted the best and got decent. Three stars, wouldn't have purchased this if I was aware of the difference, especially when purchased for health concerns, we had PM2.5 reading of 550 from wildfires, so I went with smoke grabber to filter the smokey air, while this smoke grabber, I think, is more of a deodorizer for homes with smokers; considering the objective to remove extremely high PM2.5 readings, I certainly want a real HEPA 99.97 filter that can handle this material. Not impressed.
