Fun for play non serious racing

Bought this to ship to South-Africa (super expensive to ship and customs to SA) cost as much as the unit. But, I was ok with that, just had to get one. It's a very well thought out unit and how it folds up for storage is awesome since it takes very little space. This is more a toy though than for serious diecast racing. There are 6 lanes that all cars gets released with one lever. They race down the track super fast and unfortunately it is over so quick that it makes it a bit tedious to keep stacking 6 cars to see them swoosh down and it's over. There is only one winner or shall I say winning lane and no 2nd or 3rd place indication. What I also found was the way the finish gate levers are designed, the winning car can also be determined by the shape of the vehicle front. If it's a flat or low supercar design it only triggers the lever once it hits it's roof since it's lower front profile goes underneath the lever. So a truck that's a fraction slower may trigger a win although a low profile car's actual front already passed the finish line. So not for accurate racing. For the kids and racing 6 cars all at once, easy storage etc I would recommend this sure. Haven't used it that much yet so I can't mention the sturdiness or such. But for now it seems well built if you take care whilst using it. Have fun.

A big toy that packs away small.

After a good 5 times setting up and down, I had it confidently figured out. It takes 2 minutes either way, but when stored, it can take up very little space. When set up, it's big and works great.

Great gift and toy

Bought a few tracks for my 6 year olds birthday party and this is by far the best one we purchased. It's easy to put together and break down and stores easily which is a huge perk. Provides hours of fun and entertainment.

Collapsible!

My kids love playing with hot wheels. This is a win for mom as it doesn't take up hardely any space when collapsed. It keeps them busy and happy. Can be used for hot wheels monster trucks as well if you take off the panel running across the bottom that let's you know which car won the race.

ok dad , mom i know what you are thinking ....is this the best track i can buy ? YES this is thee most fun you can have with your kid besides building it yourself its compatible with all the other crap youve bought already and it has ability to handle monster truck and cars both ! it folds up for easy storage but having racing capability is the best part lots of players at one time or just a kid by him/herself finish line flags and all that stuff is awesome too. additionally it unfold together and no major assembly this is the track you wanted as a kid and never got. pull the trigger it is literally thee best damn hotwheels playset made and my kids love it. again build your own is best but this is a close second just for all the action you can pack on it

Best Hot Wheels Set

We got this for our 6 year-old Grandson for Christmas last year to keep at our home. Every week when he's here, this is the first thing he wants to play with. We extend each of the lanes and have different challenges. It's fun for everyone to actively participate. Keeps us entertain for hours. It is very easy to assemble and disassemble. Takes only a couple of minutes and stores nicely in the closet. The only drawback is the Amazon price. We purchased it half the price (74.00) from Amazon a year ago. Waiting for it to drop in price so I can purchase another one.

Great looking track which is sturdy

Great looking track which is sturdy, easily stash-able and transportable. Came with 6 HW cars that are storable within track and retractable electronic checkered board makes it cool with LED sign and fun sound.Additional HW track links can be attached for an even better racing experience. One of the best toys ever for car-crazed kids who can play for hours alone or with group of friends. The price was steep but definitely a collector's gift item to keep!

Fantastic Fun

Bought this for my son's 5th birthday and he absolutely loves it. He's had hours of fun using it and although it was a little pricey I think overall it was good value for money. The product is made of good quality and I feel it would last a long time to come. It's also a good length too, just make sure you have plenty of space for the length of the race track. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend to a friend.

This 8 ft race track is great

Lots of fun, looks like it will last, 18" heigh at the back allows cars to pick up good speed by gravity alone. It's longer than I anticipated based on photos. Well built but pricey
