These are the softest yet don’t hurt my ears
I have been wearing earplugs for many many years as I sleep horribly and a satin eye mask and air plugs are a must in order for me to get rest. I have tried many different brands and this particular brand and type is the one that works for me. These I wear for a week at most and throw away and use a new pair. They don’t hurt my ears they’re soft you just have to twist it and I tilt my head to the side, put it in my ear until the foam fluffed back up. By the morning yes they have loosened but that’s not a problem because I’ll be waking up anyway. This is the only pair that I buy and will buy them forever.

Super effective
I’m an extremely light sleeper and unable to fall asleep with any annoying background noises. These (and the orange 33db also by Howard Leight) are the most effective ear plugs at muffling sounds enough to fall asleep.

The best.
These are the best ear plugs ever. The wide end helps make a really good seal in your ear. I wear these under earmuffs on the range and they are fantastic.

Great for blocking husband's snoring.
These have been my go to noise blocker for a few years now. I use them every night to block my husband's snoring, and they last about 5-6 night's use. It's a great product!

Somewhat uncomfortable but effective
I have used Howard Leight earplugs for years. These are better in quality than the NRR33's I ordered last year. The worst thing about these is they create a strong sense of pressure in my ears and even some pain. The noise reduction is excellent, however. I have the American flag ones, which are also a little less industrial looking than my red NRR33's. I have started using this kind almost exclusively, for studying, sleeping, and blocking out some TV noise from others. It's still possible to hear, but the sound is definitely muffled. They do sometimes fall out when I am sleeping. Overall I am satisfied with these in comparison to other kinds I have tried. Noise reduction is a must for me with not living alone, so I have tried a lot of earplugs.

Good product, but for large ears
They are good at blocking out sound but are for larger ear canals. I read this is a prior review but thought nothing of it. I know realize I wake up some mornings with low-grade pain which feels like bruising around my ear canal. This is probably due to the large size of these earplugs. Otherwise, they are quite good at blocking out sound.

These are the BEST
not only do these filter out my partner's atrocious snoring fits in the middle of the night, but these have also gotten me through screaming babies on airplanes and jackhammers next to my bedroom window. The key is to squish them with your fingers, slide them into the ear canal, and press lightly on them as they slowly expand. It seems that when you keep them in place went the "grow" they take the shape of the ear canal better. You may have to try a few times to make them fit but they are worth it! They are not pretty when they get dirty with ear wax but c'est la vie.
