Thought it was going 2 be a lot wider like the photo shows. Wish it could be made wider and a tiny bit looser

Pretty-Just like the picture-but TINY!
I think the style and colors are represented very well in the picture. The only thing I'd caution you about is, it's REALLY tiny. It's probably more suited for a little girl that a grown woman. The seller takes the time to say it's hand-painted in Tokyo (which-whatever!), and that it's pearlized-it's neither. It's a plastic molded headband, nothing is hand-painted or pearlized. I'm sure, however it would fit your average girl in Tokyo just fine. For a woman with American hair...not so much.

Comfortable (no grippers), stays in place, beautiful headband
This ‘tortoise shell’ headband is: •beautiful •has no hooks or other materials to keep it attached to your head. I have thick but fine hair. I have salt and pepper grey hair. •The first day I wore it, the band was a bit tight at the bottom on both sides. After the first day, it was no longer tight anywhere and this headband did not slide at all. •I really like being able to buy one headband!
