Was OK!

I was looking for clips larger than I could find locally. I have medium long hair and wanted a sturdy clip to hold it back at the pool and for other physical activities. This is about the same as ones I already have.

Caravan Large Hair Claw

If this hair claw was about a half inch longer it would be absolutely perfect. But except for that, it's great. I have long, thick, wavy hair, and it's sturdy enough to keep my hair up WITHOUT slippage. Very strong, tight spring, just a good, well made hair device. Very happy with my purchase. EDIT: December, 2013 After about 2 1/2 years of almost daily use, this hair claw broke. Which doesn't bother me, I'd say I definitely got my money's worth! I didn't re-order one right away so it was about a month before I replaced it, and man did I miss it. I bought another hair claw from a big box store in the interim which only reminded me why I loved this one so much in the first place. I threw the other one away after I received this one, it's just so superior there's no comparison. To me, the extra few bucks I spent on this is well worth it.

Wonderful Quality !

Im so sick of those cheap clips, made in China. They are junk, dont hold and break quickly. This clip is obviously quality, and Im happy to pay a little more for it! Its snug, holds all day, and is just the right length. Its made in France. I bought black for my dark hair, but bought another style (made by the same company) for my mom for part of her Mothers Day gift. She (like me) absolutely thinks its great. I'll never buy Goodie or Scrunchi again.

Nice clips; I've used them for years

I use these or the large ones and have used them for years. My hair is somewhat thin and very straight so I have trouble finding clips that stay in my hair yet don't dig into my scalp. They're good when my hair is shorter but when my hair is extremely long the large clips still hold all my hair up. I recently cut it mush shorter and didn't like the last smaller clips I had tried, so I was very glad to find they still make these.
