Great for Hamster Sand Baths

This sand is of a fine texture to where it’s not gritty, but not too dusty. It’s a dull white with a few sparkles. The package doesn’t look like it’d have much sand, but I’ve gotten multiple baths out of it and I still have a lot of sand left! My hamster is obsessed with it for some reason. Not only does he constantly use it for bathing, but he loves to just lay on it and nap in it.

Perfect amount of sand

I have a three round cranium‘s to hang on the wall and one container of sand was enough for all three. I did buy two containers so I poured a little more into each one of them and I still have enough for the terrarium for my fireplace

Cute and fun

I use this to make little ocean scenes with resin. It works well with mine, no flood of bubbles or shocking of the resin.

I used this to put in resin and it was great! Definitely great for any arts and crafts and a great value for the money. I honestly thought it would be a little on the smaller side but it was huge so I was happy with my purchase. It worked just as I expected it to.

Worked for me

I used this in the bottom of vases. It's very nice, it has some slight sparkles which I like and it's more off-white than white. There were some black specks in mine too. That does not bother me I think it looks great and I would definitely reorder again. It's a fine sand, but not too fine.

lid broken on arrival, sand everywhere

The sand itself is great, the delivery not so much! The lid was cracked so sand was everywhere in the huge box. I did get it all back in the container, but buyer beware, be ready to save your sand.

Flimsy container

The product itself is as described with no complaints. The plastic bottle is very flimsy and so is the lid which broke in shipping. I lost about 25% of the sand as it was scattered around in the bottom of the box. This isn’t satisfactory. I would not order this product again.

Sugar fine sand - true white

For sand crafts it's usable right out of the jar. For aquatic projects, rinse it as you would any other substrate. This size jar is the same size as most commercial spice & herb packaging. 3lbs will give you 1"-2" substrate in a gallon size jar.
