Faint colors and not the quality I expected for the price

I paid $71.99 for the queen-sized 8-piece "Vinnie Aqua" bed in a bag. Although I like the design of the comforter very much, the colors are not as bold as those shown here. I attempted to take a photo to show how faint the colors are, but my phone's camera kept correcting for it-so no photos from me as they would not be accurate. The colors on the small pillow are bolder than those on the comforter. The appearance of the comforter is not bad, but it isn't as shown in the photos. The comforter that I received has a "streaky" quality to its pattern, and those red/orange colors appear closer to a faint orange hue. The blue shams are nice. The sheets for the set feel nice but the stitching at the top of the sheet is subpar (sloppy). And, although it is obvious from the photos here, I am not sure why these sheets (with a flower pattern) were packaged with this comforter (mandala pattern). The sheet pattern bears no relation to the design of the comforter. I used different sheets with this comforter and will keep the flowered sheets from the bag as "back up." I am concerned about whether the comforter will hold up in the wash. It does not appear to have any central stitching to keep the interior from shifting - but perhaps it will hold. All said, however, everything is functional. Compared to other beds in a bag that I have purchased for less, the quality of this set--in my view--just isn't worth $71.99. I think a price between $45-$55 would be fair. So, why did I keep this bedding set? I would have returned it, but I was expecting guests in a new home and did not have time to return it or order new bedding before their arrival. I don't like writing reviews like this, and I wish I had been able to be happy about this purchase, but I'm not. I have even waited more than a couple of weeks before writing this review to see whether viewing it in my home would change my perception over time. But it has not. If you like the fainter colors, this may be the bed-in-a-bag for you. You can always order it (way before you need to actually use it) and see whether the colors and quality meet your expectations. You may really like how the set looks in your home. But if not, you can always return it. I hope this review is helpful to you.

Beautiful Pattern Love it but put fits more like A Full Not A Queen.

Beautiful Pattern just wish Comforter was bigger or I could of ordered A King Comforter & Queen Sheets & bedskirt because it fits more like A full than A queen, it don't hang over enough to cover the sheets!! & I was missing the 2 Pillow Shams, I hope they don't make me send the whole bed in bag back I already put bedskirt & Comforter on & we ALL know Putting Bedskirt on isn't A Easy Task!! Otherwise I'm Satisfied With it.

WHY ELEPHANTS?!

The cover is beautiful, however, the elephants on the skirt & fitted sheet ruined it!!! Every time I look at it I feel like I’m at a kids hospital or something lol why couldn’t it just have been plain white or anything else!! Smh

Not deep pocket sheets

I bought it thinking it was deep pockets but it wasn't. The fitted sheet didn't work at all. The comforter does not get as close to the floor as shown. Needed a king comforter and deep pocket fitted sheet

very pretty, but sized wrong

the comforter is very pretty, & very comfy, & it washes well... unfortunately, the fitted sheet doesn't fit... i'm pretty upset as i really loved the elephant sheets... i've never had a sheet not fit on the bed...

As beautiful in person as in photos

The whole set is absolutely beautiful and easy to wash, only thing is contour and flat sheet and pillow cases material is slightly thinner than i would like, but still comfortable and love that its little indie style graphed elephants, i would buy again. It is wrinkly though.

Great colours

The price was very good and the set was nice. Quality of the cotton/fabric reflected in the price. A great deal but if you're looking for a high quality set with a soft fabric, you may want to spend a bit more money.

We have new adjustable beds, and they are XL so we needed the sheet sets to be XL and there's not alot in that size. So I was delighted that they had the color we have in our bedroom and fit our bed perfectly! They look so nice and wash up really well with no issues! We'd love to get another bed set with the comforter included in the XL size that work as nice! Then I could give the comforter a break so it doesn't wear them out too soon. Thanks!
