Opened , Unknown Condition

Time clock looked like it had been in the back of a repair truck for a couple of years. The box contained extra parts from other time clocks. Since it was a electrical device I ended up returning unit based on appearance of packaging, being an open item and unknown condition of the electrical circuit.

Can be improved very easily

I used this timer to add a dual-speed motor to my pool equipment. Previously I had a variable speed pump and the controller (drive) failed. New "drives" were prohibitively expensive and I didn't want to replace it every 3 years so I opted for a 2-speed motor since the variable speed ran at 2 speeds 99.9% of the time. I have two gripes: (1) the leads of the T106M timer were not long enough to reach terminals 1 and 3 of the T104 (On/Off) timer, yet both timers and the sub-panel are all made by the same company. I ended up using a push-in wire connector to extend one of the leads (see photo), and (2) they no longer include the orange rubber grip on the manual on/off control. The grip made it easy to see and easier to handle on "hot" summer days. I am still giving it 5 stars because it works great as a 2-speed timer but longer leads and an insulated grip are not much to ask for.

Update - re wet/damaged box and non working item.

UPDATE - I have changed my review as the company reached out to me after seeing my feedback and were very sorry and have processed a refund. Therefore I have updated my rating to 5 stars as I am impressed that they did take the time after seeing my review to make things right. So I very much appreciate their customer service and response.

The T106 timer received was used

The T106 timer purchased from this vendor was used and was missing the On and Off pins.
