When you need a gold automatic watch . . .

When you need a gold watch, and you like automatics, and you don't want to spend upwards of $9,000 for an entry-level Rolex because you're not really going to wear a gold watch all the time (but even if you ARE), I don't know who beats this. I have high-end watches, mid-level, and 9 Invictas. Some of those Invictas go back 25 years. Including two-tones and gold-tone. They ALL still look and run like they're brand-new. The first two-tone Invicta I bought out of curiosity to see their gold-tone. Which I liked. Over the years I've noticed the gold-tones have held up as well as the stainless. NONE of them show any scuffs or scratches that penetrate the gold layer. Solid movement, classic yet contemporary looks, not a garish size, whether for dress or casual, this watch at this price point seems impossible to beat.

A truly outstanding watch. HIGHLY recommended.

As an owner of several "luxury" watches (5 Rolexes: 18k gold Rolex Day-Date, Submariner, Deepsea Seadweller, GMT Master II, Pro Hunter PVD Sub, 2 Omegas: Ploprof, and a vintage gold Omega Seamaster, 2 Hublots: Big Bang, Big Bang King, 3 Panerai, and several vintage and newer Tag Heuers, I am familiar with what a very nice watch should look and feel like, and this Invicta 9010 easily fits the bill. Amazingly enough this outstanding timepiece can be had for less than a hundred dollars in gold (plating that looks and feels remarkably similar to solid gold) with a more than adequate 24J Seiko movement and an impressive power reserve. I've had this watch several weeks now and unlike some previous negative reviews of the quality of the plating, I've found the gold plating on this one to be quite outstanding. Zero wearing away, stripping or otherwise degradation of the band or case thusfar--with frequent use (worn approximately 4 days/week since I received it). No indications that I should expect it to break down anytime soon either. The bracelet has substantial weight, quite a comfortable feel to it, without the problem of overly tight links as found in some cheaper sub bracelets. The clasp is effective but nothing spectacular-- BUT, it does its job and holds the bracelet well. I have nearly an 8" wrist and I was able to resize the watch VERY easily simply by moving the bracelet to the shortest clasp hole on the clasp and voila, done and ready to wear!-- No link removal or adding links for me on this baby! The champagne dial is gorgeous and unlike some earlier Invictas that had gaudy designs, this one is understated and exceptional. The date and time is very easy to set and the movement charges very quickly and efficiently. The only slight negative to me was the oversized "INVICTA" engraving on the left side of the case which I found unnecessary, a bit gaudy, and would prefer wasn't there. Engraving aside, this watch is still EASILY A 10/10 for me-- I'd give more than 5 stars if possible on the Amazon ranking system. In a watch box filled with much more expensive time pieces, this one manages to more than hold it's own and has in fact stood out in the few weeks I've owned it. Recently a colleague told me that this watch was his favorite of all my watches. High praise from this friend who is a watch nut like me, and an indication of how truly great the Invicta 9010 is!!! I recommend this outstanding timepiece to all, as I doubt one can find many, if any better deals for such a great quality watch in this increasingly expensive world. My most sincere compliments and thanks to Invicta for releasing this gem of a watch!!!

A Stunningly Beautiful Watch!!!

When i saw the price on this automatic watch, I must say I was skeptical to say the least about its quality and actual appearance. However when this watch arrive, I was truly amazed at just how stunning this watch is! I can guarentee if you wear this watch around town you are sure to get noticed! Looking the clear back cover, you can see a number of the intricate parts, the movement of each piece is smooth like a true precision watch,and the hand movement is also excellent, almost a match for the Rolex Oyster movement. The self winding mechanism work perfectly, and unlike inferior watches Invicat uses top quality springs in the winding mechanism thereby retaining the "charge" long after the watch is taken off. After just wearing it around for one day then sleeping extra late the next, it didnt appear to have lost so much as a second in the timekeeping, and was still running with plenty to spare in the morning. I HIGHLY recommend this Invicta watch to anyone interested in a serious luxury timepiece at a far less than expected price. Also, besides just its beautiful looks this watch is HEAVY, just like any REAL piece of Jewelry should be, its easy to . The orignal MSRP on this watch is well justififed, It is worth every penny I paid for it and a whole lot more, but dont tell them that or they will certainly start charging it!!!

I have been an Invicta watch fan for years! I’ve owned three Rolex watches and had issues with all of them! Invicta is a class act and you can’t beat the cost and quality! I own eight and have gifted many!

1992 lookalike

Some of the reviews attached to this appear to be of a different model so just to clarify I refer to the 40 mm version with scolloped edge bezel with beige face and gold coloured case band and bezel with a Japanese 24 jewel movement. (There are also versions with a Swiss movement or a copy of one or a Japanese 21 jewel movement) I had been put off by some reviews but it is worth remembering that the rules regarding distance selling are open to abuse and I fear some buyers return damaged or second hand goods which then get shipped out to the next buyer. So if you think your watch is second hand return it immediately. Also return it if anything about it concerns you. In particular remember that the warranty covers the movement and not a lot else. Any type of accidental damage is excluded. And if you open the watch back the warranty is void. So if the timekeeping out of the box is not up to standard send it back. I bought from Amazon and my customer experience was perfect. Big box arrived. Mainly containing paper packing but with a yellow box in the centre. Yellow box shrink wrapped in cellophane. Very good sign watch had not seen daylight since leaving factory. Inside all stickers and protection on band and clasp intact. Glad I did not get the bigger version. This is a substantial and weighty bit of kit. Seiko NH35A 24 jewel movement visible through back. This is a hacking movement so able to set to the second. The band is adjustable which is just as well! It is the biggest I have seen. To avoid unnecessary cost buy a special tool to remove the pins. They cost just a pound or two. Wrap the watch in cling film first to avoid damage. This may not strike you as particularly a Rolex lookalike but take a look in the history section of the Rolex website and view a picture of the 1992 Seamaster! You can buy an excellent and very accurate mechanical watch from China for less than £10 post free. But it will not be water resistant to this extent and its appearance will not be so striking. The booklet is a bit general. Remember to screw down the crown after setting or you risk getting water in the watch and void the warranty. Invicta apparently originated in Switzerland and incorporates the Swiss cross in its emblem although now a US company. By contrast probably the most famous US brand Hamilton is now owned by the Swiss Swatch Group. This Invicta watch reminds me in its weight and build of my Hamilton watches.

Wow. The packaging, the watch (which arrived the day after I ordered it) absolutely stunning. Can't wait to get some links taken out so I can wear it (I'm female so I expected it to have a large strap - no problem). Very classy watch, especially in the soft gold colour I ordered. Can see me ordering another one from this range, got this one because it's waterproof, although came upon the brand a bit by accident had searched Amazon for waterproof watches and fashion watches kept coming up - sort out your search engine!! These watches should be top of the list. Will be splashing about in the Arabian sea with this on next month - can't wait.

Superb time keeper

Excellent time keeping - within a second or two a day. Looks much more expensive than it is. Wore in sea every day on a three week holiday with no problems. Only minor criticism is that the bezel is both quite stiff to turn, particularly if your hands are wet, and as a diver, that's when you want to turn it, and it's ( the bezel ) also a bit too chunky and makes the watch look a little bit too flash for my liking. Otherwise delighted with it and would highly recommend, particularly at the Amazon price of £63.

Love this make of watches I now have three from this company, style great size and weight also great for women who like a larger watch. Cannot comment on water resistance as tis was a feature that was not needed for the purpose I use the watch.
