Does the job

I put the entire 22 lb. bag of dog food into the container. I keep the food in the bag inside the container in an effort to keep it fresh. Not sure how airtight the container is, but by keeping food in the bag I believe it’s more likely to remain fresh for longer. (Plus, it’s wise to keep the bag in case of a recall.)

Great for storing my dog food!

After a recent trip to the vet, the DR suggested I put my dog on low-fat food. I already had a similar container at home with the regular dog food that my other 2 dogs eat (had purchased that container at ALDI @ great a price, but it was an ALDI "find" so not a product that is always in stock, but rather a limited deal), and when I shopped around town, these types of containers were pricier, so I shopped Amazon & came across this one. For $20 and good reviews, I bought it. I'm glad I did! It does exactly what it's supposed to do. I've had NO issues with a "smell" others have commented about, no issues "putting together" (what's there really to put together other than inserting the casters into the bottom??), no issues with the casters (have never fallen off or otherwise been problematic), no issues with the seal around the lid ... not one issue! Keeps the food fresh, keeps the smell of food away so as not to attract ants or other insects, sturdy enough to that I'm not concerned about it cracking or breaking -- hey, for $20, you can't go wrong!

simple and awesome

this is smaller and nicer looking that I expected. it's well designed and disappears nicely into its surroundings . the wheels are nice and the construction is sturdy. good for storing Costco sized food bags!

Perfect for bulk items

I ordered 4 for my bulk food items, and they are PERFECT! The seller was very responsive too. They accidentally only sent 2 bins and when I reached out to them they rushed out 2 more right away.

What I wanted

This was exactly what I was looking for to hold my dog's food, especially now that the weather is getting warm. My dog is on a special and expensive diet and this container will keep any bugs out.

Great storage solution

We have cats and a medium-sized dog. I was sick of having big 'ol bags of food sitting on my pantry floor, and the animals were always trying to break in and steal the food lol. These hold a lot of food in them, they make my pantry look organized, and the animals are no longer trying to rip bags open and spilling food on the floor. I also love that I can just wheel them over to the food bowls - my kids love feeding the animals now. Would purchase again!

Great little container

I use this to store my koi food it's great keeps the food dry and it seals great may have to buy more for my dogs food thank you.

Ants

I bought this for storing my dogs kibble and there were tiny ants crawling around the tops and inside a day later so I ended up storing my dog's food back to the non airtight container with cornflour and Vaseline as an ant repellent and that seems to be doing a better job but I wasn't able to return the container and that was 2 days after I bought it. What a waste of money

This product is not air tight.

The lid is loose fitting despite the gasket. The latch does not snap firmly in place. Very loose. Works fine to hold dog food but I could purchase something much cheaper elsewhere as I bought this to be somewhat air tight and it isn't in my opinion.

Lid doesn't latch

Terrible. Lid doesn't latch. Like at all - there's a giant gap. There's no way it was ever going to latch. So I guess I'm buying the expensive one from the pet store after all.

bin arrived broken under the lid closure. I want replaced or my $$$ back. It says non returnable.

This bin arrived broken just under the lid closure. The broken piece was not in the box which tells me it was likely returned from a previous customer and resold. Why is this item non returnable or replaceable. I find that unprofessional. Not happy !!!
