Just disappointed

This thing is so cool and for a great price. It's even got some weight to it, which was surprising. However, the first time I received it, it was sent without anything wrapped around it, just loose with another item and the whole front plastic part of the packaging was cracked and ruined. Contacted Amazon, they sent out a replacement. Now the new one, also shipped without any wrapping or anything came completely busted open. I'm just going to have to improvise at this point because I don't have time to keep running across town to return things and need to get them wrapped and ready. So freaking disappointed!

Elm Street Muscle Car

A Nightmare on Elm Street had the iconic scene at the end when Freddy's sweater was the convertible top on a beautiful Cadillac. Such an iconic scene would, obviously, make for an awesome toy. If I was a kid, I would love to open this case with Freddy and the Cadillac, then vroom around without a care in the world. I'm old though;) So I'm happy to just look at such a cool toy:)

False advertising

Honestly, I love the car. It’s awesome. Looks just like I thought it would. But the manufacturers should’ve looked up “die-cast” before making such a claim. I expected both car and figure to be metal and am, therefore, seriously disappointed to find that the figure, and the top of the car, are both what seems like relatively flimsy plastic. As a collector’s item it’s still very cool, and considering no one else has mentioned this error I assume my review will be deleted… but don’t say something is metal when it quite obviously isn’t.

You're not buying it for the figurine

The Freddy figurine looks like doo doo, but let's be real, we're not buying it for that. The car was such a cool and unique gift for my husband. This is one of those pieces you don't take out of the box. I'm happy I could snag this for my husband's horror collection.
