Nice basic socks, fit true to size

The main advantage of these socks is that they stay put- especially as compared to some other socks we have tried that may feel softer but slide right off. With that said, the fabric is not the softest- but gets the job done. With so many fancy looking socks out there, these are good basic ones to have if you just want something that works and is easy to clean/ pair up (of you happen to misplace of the socks, which is easy to do).

Fit is great but in my 2 year old's school they have a no-shoes (kids/teachers/parents) policy so the bottoms are showing a bit of wear. They have not lost any of their elasticity after a few months wear. For no-shoes applications, I suggest socks with the rubber grips on the bottom as they provide more traction and stand up to wear better.

Stays on baby's feet

I love the black socks. They match almost any outfit and stay on baby's feet (if he doesn't pull them off) ;) My son is 9 months old and these socks fit perfect. I expect them to last him another few months. They stay on through the entire day and keep his feet warm when he goes outside. **Update** My son is now 17 months old and these socks are still going strong. No fading after washing and they stretch to fit his fat little feet.

No protection grips.

No grips at the bottom for my 9 month old. Disappointed.

Shrunk at first wash significantly. Appears to stretch out easily but not sure how long these socks will hold form.
