Fun but confusing.
Purchased these for my 11 yo son. He really loves them but several of the colors do not match what the manual says should be included. We have all the pieces but the colors are off. My son enjoys them, however.

Love this item - Great gift and very sturdy
This is a great item. We gave this to our 6yr old for Christmas and she loved it. The instructions are easy to follow but will need a parents help for younger kids. We bought a little storage container to put all the parts in as there are a few little parts which you don't want to lose. These little kits are create. They hold on strong and their imagination is able to soar. The parts can be tough to get together and apart, however that is by design. When together they hold strong which allows you to build rigid items like cars and trucks. The kid has some pieces that are flexible too which is cool and not like most other kits. This is a highly recommended item for kids of all ages!

Weak Sauce K'Nex
You think, ok, 60 pieces, that seems like a decent amount to start with. The box arrives and it's a good size box, so you're still feeling good about your $30ish purchase. Then your son opens the box on Christmas morning. Ah-hahahahahaha! It must be a joke, right? -It's not. There are barely enough pieces to cover the bottom layer of the sizable box. You could literally fit the actual volume of pieces, easily, and with space, in a toddler size shoe box. Soooo, why the giant box relative to actual product volume? Other than making you feel like you're getting more than you actually are, I got nothing. Bottom line: K'Nex are cool, but the value is definitely lacking at this price point. Maybe if they saved a bit of cash and went for the smaller box, they could help out mother nature, their own bottom line, and lower the price for consumers like us. Would I buy this again? Sure, if it was under $20.

Core Size Pieces
Great “core” size pieces! Perfect for my boys (ages 6, , 8, and 9) to be creative with! I just wish the box would say the size of pieces . (The company calls the tiny ones “micro” and this mid size they call “core.”)

Buen juego de construccion
Lo compré para mi sobrino y le gusto mucho, ademas del manual con algunos modelos juega inventando sus propias construcciones. Le doy 4 estrellas porque en el manual impreso no vienen todos los modelos que aparecen ilustrados en la caja.
