BIG WIN

I love this little bag. It is deceptive with how much it holds. I holds 12 cards, my iPhone XR, cash, coins an eyeglass wipe, single key and even my lip balm in thin pot. I carry it with me everywhere now and want to get more colors. It’s well crafted, sturdy and great to throw in a bigger tote when out for the day to run errands and you don’t want to lug everything everywhere.

feels flimsy and cheap, holds up pretty well*

*if you take care of it, naturally. when I first got it, I was stunned that I payed upwards of $20 for it. the rope is stiff and scratchy, and a bit long, but I knotted it at the top and have no problems! I went on a 6 mile walk (paved track, definitely not a hike) with my pixel 3xl in my wallet, strapped crossbody the whole way. the weight was distributed so evenly I barely noticed it and the rope didn't irritate my skin like I thought it would for being so scratchy. it feels flimsy, but so far it's held up for the things I need. granted, ive only been using it for a month or less, but it has improved my quality of life by not having to lug my entire bag/backpack around, especially when I just need a few essential things. speaking on, I was able to fit my pixel 3xl, a near-pocket-size notebook, a lamy 2000 fountain pen, plus the regular wallet contents, so it could be considered versatile, I guess. I wish I hadn't paid as much as I had, but it hasn't given me a real reason to regret it so far.

I will be keeping the wallet because it serves the purpose I was looking for and doesn't look as bad as a lot of crossbody wallets I have found. But, I feel like it is slightly cheap for the price. I think its worth more like $15 honestly. I only give it 4 stars because I feel like the money/card side should be on the outside side of the wallet. To me it is less awkward to get my money and cards out with them further away from my body. I also like to be discreet about what is in my wallet when i'm out in public and that is harder when your opening it up where everything is facing outwards. It's not a big deal because you can just wear the wallet with logo facing towards your body, but it just doesn't seem like there is a point in putting it on the product to begin with then? it could be slightly wider to accomodate cellphones with a case a little better, but my iphone SE with a otter box defender fits fine, and I'm sure a regular sized iphone 8 with the same case would fit as well, it just makes it a lot tighter if the phone has a case on it. This doesn't bother me so much because I was looking for something small that will fit in my bag like a regular wallet, but can be worn crossbody. The last two things I only give it 4 stars for is because the card slot one up from the ID window is virtually impossible to get anything out of if the other slots have cards, it is much too deep. The other slots aren't like this though so i'll only be using those unless I want to unload my whole wallet to get whatever is in that one slot. If I could give it 3.5 stars I would take another half away, but it will do for now and I'll just cross my fingers that Kavu will change up their design a little next time.

light/quality wallet purse

I've been carrying my kavu wallet by hand forever and have been looking for something equally small/light as just having a wallet. Enter this purse! It actually feels lighter than my wallet somehow even though it is all the same stuff. If I don't have too much change in the purse I can also put my phone in there and zip it up which is nice when I am shopping. Love the rope strap too that is also removeable. I love KAVU, they are a great and trusted brand in my opinion.

Love this crossbody Wallet!

I bought this to use for a concert I attended that had a very strict bag/purse policy. It worked perfectly and I even could zip my cell phone inside. I occasionally DoorDash for extra cash and this works perfect to carry with me instead of a bulky purse. I use it almost daily now. Absolutely love it!

Liked that it was canvas, I’ve had cheap PVC wallets that leave pieces of lining on items in the wallet. I would have liked a Velcro closure on the open pocket as my phone slides out when I open
