Would buy again

Well it had a crack in it at the bottom but it’s still usable. Works great my hamster loves it. He uses the ball as his house so he put all his bedding and food up in the green ball. Oh and has escaped twice cause he’s a smart guy.

Perfect home

We bought this for our sons new hamster. He loves it and has plenty of space and entertainment. It’s easy to clean and built well.

My hammys love this!

I love krittertrail because their pieces are interchangeable. I have 2 other cages and I have been able to customize them to my hamsters needs.

If you want to be a good hamster parent, buy 2+

One crittertail habitat, whether the largest size or not, is not even remotely close to what a hamster needs. 2 is the absolute MINIMUM for one hamster, so I recommend getting 3 if you can and want to provide a better living condition for your hamster. The habitat is mostly made of plastic, although there are wire sides. However, the cage doesn't fit most of the requirements a hamster habitat needs: ✖ the plastic base is not tall enough to provide 6 inches of bedding (can provide around 4 in) ✖ the cage is not tall enough for most hanging toys, and the roof is not wired (hard to hang toys) ✖ one cage is WAY too small for a hamster, considering getting at least two and on the quality of the product: ✖ water bottle included is too small and hard to see how much water is left ✖ the plastic quality is very brittle and easily breaks ✖ assembling is difficult as some parts don't fit perfectly; takes some strength to attach and detach Highly, highly recommend into looking at other hamster cages. Kaytee habitats are cheap which makes them popular, but definitely are NOT the best product out there. Please consider researching on this more before bringing a pet home.

One problem

The cage is great the only issue is the wheel on top is hard to turn. Other than that I love the cage

Hamster cage

The first one we got had many broken pieces. We had to have a new one sent to replace the first one. The next one had no defaults. I think this product is cheap plastic and the price for these is outrageous in my opinion.

I wouldn't waste your money

We have already stopped using this cage and went back to huge storage bin we were using before. Our hamster would build its home in the ball, stuff it full of bedding. There was no room to put a lot of bedding in the bottom of the cage for him to burrow due to the water bottle hanging down to the bottom. If you have a small hamster it may work. but not a bigger hamster. They really do need 6inch to burrow down. Wish I wouldn't have wasted my money.
