Beautiful light

Horrible!!!!

Bought from Wayfair, but it is this same light. I have hung dozens of ceiling lights and dozens of ceiling fan/light combinations. This light is by far the worst I have ever had to deal with! If I could give this light a minus 100 I would. The first light came with a shattered large glass dish. They replaced with a new light. To hang it I had to add my own light bulbs, wire nuts, and nuts to fasten the screws for hanging the light to the base plate. It was near impossible to hang this light!!! Whoever designed it should be fired now. I had to invent my own way of hanging the light since the pieces they sent and the instructions that they sent did not help--were terrible. Once I had the basic structure of the light up, I discovered it was crooked and the light hung way off level. Looking at it more closely, the main threaded pipe was threaded at an off angle into the light base. So, I took out the original light base that came with the shattered glass bottom plate. It was not crooked, so I proceeded to take everything apart and start over with the original base. I finally got the light hung with no way possible to secure it tight up against the ceiling even after I added pieces to help it fit and at least gave me the option of getting the light to hang there. After all this I discovered the threaded pipe hanging from the base was too long. I got it to work sort of by adding pieces of the first light as spacers so that I could tighten everything together. All in all, I had to cobble together two of these to finish the job that still is not right. The light base is not tight up against the ceiling. the added spacers don't look too bad though a little strange. The instructions were nearly brain dead as far as actually hanging this properly. This light is way overpriced and took me hours to actually get it to look sort of okay. I'm not sure we will keep it. I am too tired of messing with it to take it all apart and re-box it. To keep this review reasonably short I have left out some of the details about the crazy things I had to do to hang it. Do. Not. Buy!
