Klein had the best shoulder straps.
Not used on a Klein bag but Klein shoulder strap is very comfortable and durable.

Excellent strap! Smelled really musty right out of package.
Strap is excellent! Smelled musty coming out of packaging, I thought the smell would go away but it hasn’t. I’m gonna try to wash it but it shouldn’t smell like that being new

Straps
Needed a set of straps to carry my deer seat to the woods, these attach easily. Stay on your shoulders, comfortably. Not intended for this but work great, bought 2 more pairs. Love them .

Search for the perfect strap
Having suffered too many broken or uncomfortable straps on my laptop bag, I came to Amazon in search of the perfect strap. After looking at way too many product reviews, I narrowed it down to five different straps and put them to the test. The Contenders: • Victorinox Comfort Fit Shoulder Strap • OP/TECH USA SOS Strap for bags • Skooba Superbungee Strap • Travelon Shoulder Strap • Klein 58889 Padded Adjustable Shoulder Strap The Klein Strap is really intended for tool bags. As such, it is extreme duty. If I wanted to take a bag to war, this would be the strap I’d get. I can’t imagine it ever breaking or falling apart. That said, it is not going to work for extended carrying (ie., running through airports) – it’s just not comfortable enough for extended use. The Travelon strap gets good reviews and it is moderately comfortable. The shape of the padding allows it to be easily thrown over either shoulder and the price is right. However… It slides. There just isn’t enough grip on the padding and it easily slips off your shoulder. If you wear your strap across the chest like a messenger bag, then his is probably the one to get. The Skooba strap. It’s large and in charge – probably the most comfortable of the five straps, but you’re certainly paying for the comfort – this isn’t cheap. The bag feels 50% lighter with this strap compared to the others – the suspension system really works. But, it also slides – there is just not enough grip in the padding to keep it on your shoulder. If you have small shoulders, it’s even worse due to the width of the padding. The padding width and lack of curve also makes across the chest carrying awkward. The OP/TECH. Again, the price is right and a close second in the comfort department to the Skooba. I really like this strap, has enough grip to stay on your shoulder without sliding and the neoprene really works to reduce the feeling of weight. Added bonus in that the straps can be disconnected from the hooks and can be fed through a buckle system. However, this strap just doesn’t feel like it’s going to hold up to heavy use. It feels somewhat lightweight. The Victorinox. This strap excels in the grip department – I have absolutely no fear of this thing slipping off my shoulders. The padding is moderately comfortable, maybe just slightly more comfortable than the Travelon, but nowhere near the OP/TECH or Skooba. It appears well constructed and looks like it will hold up to heavy use (and it should, given the price). Final results? None get 5 stars. The Victorinox is going on my laptop bag. It has the right mix of grip/durability and comfort, but at the highest price of all five. I’m keeping the OP/TECH as well and will use it for a lighter bag – I’ll report bag on whether it holds up long-term. If it does, then it may graduate to the laptop bag and become the final 5-star winner. The other three straps are going back. In the end, they just didn’t make the cut for my usage.

Almost Perfect!
I bought this strap to replace a strap on a leather laptop bag / briefcase, which had both size adjusters snap off of it a few months back. I felt like tossing the bag after it broke, but decided to keep it, as I didn't want to spend a bunch of money for a new one, when I already had a perfectly good bag! Lo' and behold, after some research, I found this strap. There's not too much to say about the strap, other than that it reminds me of a seat belt, folded over itself, stitched, with a padded shoulder pad on it. Oh, and metal clasps on both ends of it. But this thing is solid! After it arrived in the mail, I quickly put it on, adjusted it, and tried it out. I didn't think I'd ever say it, but this strap is comfortable! Much more than the other strap that originally came with my bag. I'm sure the majority of the comfort of it is the shoulder pad itself. Either way, it feels nice, and I won't have a problem carrying around a laptop, tablet, kindle, assorted cables, and a few file folders in my bag with this strap on. I had to take a star off of the rating, due to the fact that the clasps at both ends were solid, and not swivel. It's a minor thing to nitpick about, I know. However, it's something that could have easily been put in for an extra buck or so, and would have kept me from having to adjust the entire strap every time I put it on, rather than just rotating the clasps. Oh well! All in all, definitely a good buy if you're looking for one. Note that it's not very "luxurious looking". It's more industrial, since it was originally meant to go with the Klein line of toolbags. But it is a nice, dark black color, and it works for what I need it for.

All bag shoulder straps should be more like this
The pad is correctly made, i.e. curved, and totally covered in high friction material. It will stay on your shoulder far longer than typical bag straps. The pad, being the main item in the strap stays as it is rathern than .... as with sheaper strap with a sliding shoulder wider pad bit, keeps sliding off or come askew. The other important design feature is the use of two adjustment bickles as as to allow the pad to stay where it is and the length of the strap be adjustd according to user desired. Cheap straps only has one adjustment buckle and invariable they end up at a position along the strap where it sits on your shoulder and digs in. Remember the sliding shoulder pad mentioned above ? Well it is useless because it can't slide under such an adjustment buckle, precisely where you want to have padding to prevent the buckle hurting you. So don't buy a laptop bag without buying this strap. These are the reasons why I am throwing away all the original laptop straps away and to replace with theis one. Yes, it cost the same as some of the laptop bags but they are otherwise useless.

Clasps were a disappointment
The product is pretty well made and rugged, however the clasps don't work very well. I found that the cheap carabiners from Canadian Tire worked much better. I had the strap clasp open at least 3 or 4 times while using it as a laptop bag, causing it to tumble to the ground. Bit of a disappointment.

Super solid and very hardy compared to the stock strap ...
Super solid and very hardy compared to the stock strap on my Kuny bag that snapped suddenly, while I was up high and almost lost some tools. Anyways, would of been nice if the strap had pivot like on the stock bag, but is a very very minor thing.

Great shoulder strap!
I needed a strap for my string trimmer and this shoulder strap works great. Notice that the hooks are metal not plastic which is another reason I chose this item.
