OEM Part, better shipping time/price

My sensate faucet stopped working after almost 7 years. Manual and no touch operation worked but very low flow. Quick diagnosis and one google search later I purchased this solenoid assembly. It was a better price than kohler was asking and arrived in two days. Easy to install. Only need a screwdriver to remove the box cover and a vessel to hold residual water once you disconnect. Faucet works fully again. Wondering if I should by another as a backup for 7 years from now.

It Fixed the Problem

Moving your hands under my faucet did not start the water. Using the faucet handle also did not work (so that eliminated the sensor). Previous reviews complained of the Solenoid going bad. So I ordered a Solenoid both from Amazon and Kohler at the same time. Kohler was cheaper but did not have 2-day shipping. I figured whichever came first I would use and return the other one. Amazon came first, I installed it, and it fixed the problem. I am keeping the identical Kohler one as a spare incase I need another one in the future. Too bad things like this don’t last longer without needing repairs.

Cost less than buying it direct from Kohler.

Works!

The existing Kohler solenoid was put out of commission by the debry from the old cut off valve, so once I got the valve replaced, I replaced the Kohler solenoid. Everything is back working.
