You can't beat Kohler for quality

I have tried so hard to use other, cheaper brands of bathroom accessories, and I always return to Kohler, for one reason only: The mounting hardware. These things are foolproof to install, and they hold themselves well to the wall. I have to mount into drywall without studs, and a lot of other brands use mounting hardware that ends up too loose against the wall, allowing pressure against the towel rod to "jiggle" the whole thing such that over time, the dry wall anchors get loose and the whole thing pulls out of the wall. Break out the spackle and paint! It sucks having to relocate things. Save yourself some time and buy from Kohler. I was wondering why this one was so much cheaper than the other ones they sell and it turns out it's because it's not made of brass like the fancier ones, which is fine by me. Oh--one more major advantage I didn't expect--the rod is fixed to the two finials on the end, so the rod doesn't spin and make a lot of noise or drop your towels off it. No, I don't work for Kohler, I'm just a slightly-handy engineer who is fed up with working on his guest bathroom!!!!

Great product (Lift the 4 piece limit already)

Love the product, hated that I could only buy 4 when I needed 5 (they showed that they had 5 in stock when I ordered the first time). Figured, OK, I will just place the order of 4 then get back in and order the last one I needed. Nope, had to wait over a week to order the 5th unit.

It looks good and is well made. It is a Kohler, and that is what you get. Easy to install with standard tools. I like the rounded smooth edges.

Quality Item

We've been upgrading some of our bathroom hardware. Given the age of the house and the traditional design, the Kelston line fits well. The towel bar seems well made - in line with other Kohler products we've owned. It's certainly easy to install with basic tools. The main thing on all bathroom hardware you hang, measure twice and poke holes in your drywall once. The measurement need to be reasonably accurate or you'll be sorry. The kit comes with two types of anchors. As this bar can hold two large towels, I chose to use the larger, more sturdy anchors.

Understated elegance

Bought this towel bar along with the toilet tissue holder for my new powder room. The powder room has a pedestal sink with chrome fixtures. These Kelston products match the elegance of the old-time look of the sink. Love it! Well made, as all Kohler products are.
