Kohler Adds Value to Any Project
So Kohler has the absolute best customer service. Wanted to do our whole bathroom in Kohler. Everything I wanted to purchase was back ordered or full full full price. These are elegant, understated and they said there was a scratch, but I couldn’t find it =D

good flow
The faucet has a good flow, and easy to keep clean. Not real happy with the drain. I would by this product again because the of the Facuet.

Quality Faucet
The Kohler faucet is beautiful and the hot and cold temperature feature glides easily. Easy to install and comes with a top notch ceramic disc which should last many years down the line. Great price too about $59 cheaper than our hardware store.

AVOID! Looks nice, feels nice - but thx to epic drain pipe design flaw...and horrendous instructions, I can't actually USE i
Cons: this faucet leaves me both disappointed & extremely (!!) frustrated. Design flaw (huge one). No (usable) instructions provided. Pros: I've probably lost 15 pounds walking back & forth to Lowes/HD in NYC. The faucet itself *appears* to be well built (except for one tragic flaw, see below), it's a nice appearing and outwardly a fine piece of hardware. The problem is I can't review its functionality b/c I can't get it connected to use it. The bird-cage liner instructions on instructions (which are the same as those Kohler has on the product web page way way WAY at the bottom as if to keep them hidden) are completely in all ways useless. First, the instructions are written in almost microscopic print - and has itty bitty diagrams - said diagrams lacking any identification of which parts/bits a given step is referring to. All this useless nano-font text is crammed onto 1 side of 1 page printed/photocopied in terrible quality thereby making them even harder to read. It reminds one of the old 'mimeograph' copies and demonstrates on Kohler's part a total lack of 'effort'. Kohler has clearly jumped onto the 'let's see who can print instructions using the least ink and paper humanly possible' bandwagon. And chances are, they'd medal if in that respect. The complete lack of 'interest' in the instructions reminds one of the 'new job candidate' who arrives late and hands you his/her CV that is crumpled, coffee stained, and missing a page. Total lack of interest in doing a job well. [the instructions appear as if written and presented by a 5th grader, whereas Kohler's website is all shiny and pretty fancy pants, strongly suggesting Kohler cares vastly more about (and spends a LOT more on) marketing/getting folks to BUY their product but once bought then they're like 'meh not our problem figure it out yourself' Second, the instructions (once you find either a 12yo or a hawk to read them to you) are so basic as to be rendered useless. They tell you what to do (e.g. "insert pipe" or "tighten nut") but not *how* to do it or what to do it to. For instance, the included drain tail pipe has no threads and no 'lip' so at least in my case, there is simply no way other than using tape or silicone to connect it to the P-trap. Slip nut wont work. Hose won't work. Threaded nut won't work. Soldering wont work. I've made 3 trips to Lowes and 2 to Home Depot trying to Jerry-rig a way to connect a threadless/lipless tailpipe to a standard P-trap. Every sales associate (about 6 or 7 total) was equally as baffled by this bizarre drain pipe design and had no idea how to 'make it work' except using goo. No lip. No threads. There is, as noted, no way but to gum it up with some sort of sealant/calk. It's nonsensical. Third, the instructions are overall just terribly written and obviously not proofread by anyone, ever. E.g., in one box (7) they tell you to "tighten the nut." Then in the very next box 8, they tell you to...wait for it, WAIT FOR IT..."tighten the nut." Except, the nut was purportedly just tightened in the prior step. Whatever nut that might be - which you just have to guess because they neither tell you nor provide a diagram to SHOW you. WTF Kohler?? On the bright side, the instructions are provided in 2 other languages so they are equally as useless and erroneously written to those speaking French or Spanish who also cannot use their Kohler faucet. Assuming of course they have a 12yo or hawk available to read the smudgy nano-print. Thus be forewarned ... if you have a standard P-trap, because of the bizarro drain pipe sans threads or lip (for a slip nut), you WILL need materials other than the kindly provided image of a wrench, pliers, and plumbers, putty. I contemplated buying a normal drain assembly, but alas it wont be compatible with Kohlers drain valve lever. Thus there is no ideal solution except to glob sealant/silicone/calk/old band aids/scotch tape/bubblegum alone or in combination to be able to "connect trap to tailpiece" given the impressively idiotic way the Kohler drain assembly is designed: to not work with any conventional plumbing bits. So, off I go again to HD to find some goo to "connect" Kohler's threadless lipless male drain tail pipe to my male P-trap in a water tight manner. Which KOHLER has made as difficult as possible to do. Conclusion: nice looking faucet that appears well made, but due to an insanely stupid drain pipe design & instructions written / printed in a way that makes them useless...I've not been able to actually use the faucet yet and have spent several hours and lots of walking back and forth to hardware stores trying to just make usable. If a 0 star rating was available, the Kohler July faucet would earn it in spades.

Excellent product
I needed a faucet with a drain lever on the side as opposed to behind the faucet. This is one of very few on the market. It is exceptional
