Perfection

Bought a house last year. On the surface…LOVELY reno done by the seller. Everything was new from the floors to the ceilings. But holy crap did they use cheap stuff. The shower: GORgeous. But the handle was loose and junky. Weird, because it, like this one, was Kohler. Maybe Kohler has a line of cheap crap they sell at like Menards or something. This one, though…10/10 would recommend. Got it installed last week. SUPER nice. Feels solid.

Works on all Kohler valves

First off, this valve trim works perfect and is built really well. I was originally concerned about ordering because every Kohler valve trim I looked at online or Amazon mentioned it works with the Rite-Temp new valve system. But I the older valve as shown in the 2 pictures (K304 valve). Anyways, after speaking with Kohler I discovered that all of their valve trim will work with both the old and new valve systems. In fact, the kit came with an adapter depending on which model you have! Hope this helps someone else clear some confusion

Coverplate spins

This worked with GP800820 cartridge (to replace GP500520 one) + GP77759 mixer. After tighting up the handle to the base, cover plate that has Kohler on it (and H and C symbols) spins freely around the base. Instructions didn't have any tips to secure it. I guess I can fix it to the wall with some putty.

Solid, nice look!

Kohler quality, handle feels solid and precise in radial movement. Like that its almost mirrored with the polished chrome.
