These curtains are perfect for my guest bedroom. The gold shimmers. They let in just enough light. Very pretty.

Cute curtains

4 stars because these are not “total” blackout as described. They do significantly cut back on the light. The are double sided in that there is a white layer behind the design. The curtains themselves are very thick and great quality.

They are gorgeous blackouts

Straight to the point the curtains are blackouts. If light creeps around the sides, then you have to manipulate it as with all of them. It can be ironed just be careful and keep the iron moving over steam or squirt bottle . It is not true/stark white, but close

Pretty and light

I think these curtains are pretty and they do a great job of keeping the room dark. But more importantly to me, they are light and flowy! My only other experience with blackout curtains are with a pair that are really thick and stiff, so I was surprised to receive these and find how nice they felt. They could easily be tied back if desired without being too bulky.

Great blackout curtains!

have a few thermal/blackout curtains but not enough to go around the house. I was not looking for a specific color so I thought these would be a perfect match. The color is a light shade of pink (I guess they call it blush) with the gold decoration (as you can see). I didn't think the gold would be too much but it has a lot of shine during the daytime, I think that is the only thing that stands out from the curtains. The grommets, stitching, and the entire curtain itself is nicely made. Our bedroom window gets all the evening sun and even with the blinds, it can be too bright during the day. The curtains do completely block out the light, the only light I could see was the one coming from the top and the sides as there was nothing covering there and the sides because our curtain rods don't extend enough.. I am including two pictures (not sure which order they will show): 1 - Curtain with open blinds (as you should see, the only light is coming from the uncovered window) 2 - Closed blinds, even though there is less light coming in, you can still see something; but not through the curtains

beautiful, chick and blocks light

Definitely measure your windows. The material is soft, which I appreciate. The white ones I have are rather stiff. When you hang them up, make sure to start the ring folded in that way the ends of the curtain curls in. Make sure to do with both. I was a derp and did not pay attention to this detail and had to take them down and re-due one side. Also wide wise, I still had to keep my stiff center white ones which do not completely block light but this is fine as it was my error. They definitely upgraded my livingroom BIG TIME. Definitely still made it darker. I am very happy with how much of a difference just curtains can freshen and brighten up a room and yet can make it darker at the same time (depending on if I have inside lights on or not) very pleased and would definitely recommend these. I cannot comment on washing as I have never washed curtains. Ones I have been up there 3 years. Brush them off and good to go. Will likely do these the same if just dust.* Pay attention to sizing of your windows* is my only recommendation. Seems like a duh but you go oh this will be fine this will fit and you find out your judgement is not so kosher. Get the measuring tape. Be safe.
