Overall a great hands free system but the quick release can get loose if dog suddenly jerks

I use this nearly every day for hands free hikes in a local park. It's fantastic and very comfortable. There's great support on the back so if the dog pulls a little it's not uncomfortable. The one downside is that a couple of times my dog has suddenly jerked which has caused the quick release strap to loosen up. Fortunately, it hasn't come undone completely. I did rig up a system using a carabiner to give me extra security.

Perfect for pulling

My dog wears the Kurgo Long Hauler Harness on all of our canicross runs/events. It's been really helpful because it gives him more area to pull from and doesn't constrict him on the runs. He has a very short back so it fits him perfectly. It is made well but I would only use it for 5ks or canicross events and not an event like the US Canine Biathlon as that event would eat it for breakfast (I use the Kurgo Allagash Harness for that event). Overall, I have been very pleased with the harness and so has my dog. He knows we are going to go for a run when he sees it. The only thing is the towline is not removeable like what is shown in the picture. Otherwise, wonderful pulling/canicross harness.

too small even though i ordered a large does not go large enough for a bernese mountian dog. really nice harness just does not fir

Great harness!

I use this for skijoring and it works great! My dog is a 35 lb border collie/Aussie mix and the small fits her well. I was worried about the head opening being too small, but it is perfect. It’s just a little big around the ribs but works just fine.

This is the most poorly designed joring harness on the market. This harness is not designed for dogs to comfortably pull. It constricts shoulder movement, breathing, and has poor pressure points on the front. In addition, it is ill fitting. As you can see in the attached labeled picture: #1 The shoulder straps are way too loose and do not sit in an appropriate location. This is because #3 is too small for the rest of the harness. Point #3 also sits up way too high on the dogs neck, constricting air flow to the dogs chest and lungs. Point #2 is way too close to the dogs arm for proper running and too tight on the dogs ribs, which need to expand for breathing. Point #2 is also just a product of more poor design, the under buckle padding is totally pointless as it isn’t under the buckle!

Great harness

Awesome harness! Fits my dog a little loose even though I measured her, but it works great!

Hands free is great for dog and owner

This is great! I saw ski joring and found the solution for my dog to make our hands free walking much easier. I have used the red ring at the back of the harness and the line to clip the line to, depending on how much length I want. I use this around our horse farm to keep him close. The wide straps lay nicely and comfortably, the buckles are large and sturdy and I don't feel my 76 lb dog will easily pull this harness apart from wear.

Great canicross bag to hold all the gear

Very comfortable. Works well for my 55lb lab. Love that I can carry all my stuff. Love that there are two zippered pouches so if I need to Cary Poo bags, I can. Haven’t really figured out the water bottle holder, but that’s probably me.

Beware, pictures are misleading

Beware, photos are misleading. I was under the impression that I would receive the dog and human harness as well as the leash but I only received the human harness

Best leash yet

Love the bungee section of the leash. Great for dogs that like to suddenly change directions to smell stuff. So pretty much all of em.
