Beautiful Quality | Will Last a Lifetime in the Classroom!

Smooth and knot-free wood. Perfectly sized for First Grade students' hands. Will last a lifetime of little ones if instructed on how to respect classroom materials! The easy to close/open case is important to a classroom teacher as organization is key to keeping a classroom humming. The one question I had, for instructional purposes, was the type of pyramid included. It is a square-based pyramid. Now, I can create my labeled cards for centers! I love and value well-made products that are thoughtfully and aesthetically packaged. It makes my heart happy to spend personal earnings on beautiful classroom materials! Hardwood geometric solids

The geometric solids are assorted correctly and have basic shapes in a few variations. For example, there are two pyramids that differ a lot from each other, and two cylinders of different lengths, etc. the sizes are very appropriate for children 3 years of age and older. They are just right for the grasp and manual exploration. However, the wood the solids are made of is a little softer than I would like. Once a shape is dropped, a there can be a mark on a tip of it. The shapes are not painted of polished, but are exceptionally smooth. This item has a great educational value as it teaches children to discriminate between 2- and 3- dimensional shapes: cube and square, circle and sphere, etc. I would recommend this item for those who homeschool or teach in classrooms with few children.

Solid wood construction.

I’m using these to teach my virtual art class drawing, and these are nice sturdy wooden forms that are perfect for that purpose. The pyramid and the cone are sharp and pointy, so if you’re giving these to little kids to play with you might want to consider filing those areas down a bit.

Durable but not entirely safe

Beautiful, functional, and clever. The wood is sanded down alright, at least I would not expect splinters. The pyramid and the cone are QUITE SHARP! We are sanding them down prior to play. For the price, the tips should have been sanded down

Great buy

They are sturdy and came in great shape! Hahah get it. Shape :) with great care they will last. My son is 5yo so he won't throw or put them is his mouth. They are very smooth.

Happy with my purchase however sand these down before giving to a child as they could get a splinter.

Comes in a handy plastic tub, good for storing them when not in use. Bought in order to paint white to learn about the fundamentals of light (art). Handled gesso well. Happy with my purchase. Would be worth buying some sandpaper as well as the blocks had some splinters. Would definitely sand these down before handing to a young child.

Great for the classroom

I found these shapes great to use in the classroom. Good quality and because they are all the same colour it was easier to just look at the properties of the shapes and compare them.
