Endless fun.

My daughter has used this set without the provided experiment instructions. She is still able to have lots of fun with it by using soapy water and water colored with food coloring to mix the different colors. She has also used it in the bath with Crayola crayon bubble bath. So far it is sturdy, easy to clean, and keeps my child occupied.

So fun

The splashology set is in the bathtub. The different sizes of tubes and beakers make it fun for my kids to play and share. There are plenty of pieces. During the summer we bought it outside to play with our water table and in our toddler pool. Sturdy plastic. I see this toy lasting for a long time. The volcano is awesome. Also sturdy plastic. We have done volcanos in it at least 5 times and there is no deterioration that I can notice. Now the volcano sits on our science table waiting for summer. For reference I have a 4 year old and 2 year old.

Learning Resources for the win!

Our three year old daughter has become very interested in any type of science experiment and she loves Gabby’s Dollhouse where they do “spa science”. She got this set for Christmas and LOVES it. She does so many different things with it and loves putting bath bombs in the beakers and Crayola Color Drops…the imagination and activity capability is endless with this. We will use this for years to come. The plastic of everything is very durable and great quality. The experiment cards are simple, fun, and waterproof! We love this set and Learning Resources continues to impress us with their products!

Underwhelming

It's summer and COVID-19 is keeping us at home, so I've been trying to order some fun things to occupy my five-year-old daughter. This looked like something she'd enjoy since she likes doing science experiments at home. However, the experiments are a little dull and it didn't provide quite as much enjoyment or entertainment as I was hoping. My daughter has discovered it's more fun to take all the items into the bathtub and just pour and play with them there. It'd be a good set for a water table for the preschool crowd, but my kindergartner and I were a little underwhelmed.

Fun and easy set for young kids

My almost 5 year old and I loved using this set. The recipes are simple- most items we have in the house- and the one we did first (popsicles as seen in the pictures) took 5 minutes hands on time. The items are all kid-friendly (easy to hold, easy to maneuver) and the ingredients are mostly things I already had in the house. Kiddo really loved eating something he made "all by himself" and I liked it because there was limited mess. This would be a great gift to give for a 5-6 year old! Not sure how much "STEM" there is involved besides mixing, measuring and freezing liquid to solid, but it is a fun and different non-screen activity. Highly recommend!

Fun set of items to make quick treats with kids

This set has three plastic measuring cups, a plastic chopper, an eyedropper, a shape tray for molding items, and four popsicle molds (different shapes) with caps and a stand. It also has a recipe/idea booklet. It's a nice set for mixing and molding items, and the booklet explains some science. The major drawback is that all of the items must be hand washed. The set is colorful and interesting, though, and kids will like being able to make things on their own with it.

Great young kids!!

Awesome toy. Bought for my 3:5 year old who loves science and water. It was the perfect gift. You can use it I. The tub or the sink or water table if you have one. It needs some supervision for his age. He can’t read so I need to assist with the experiments. But, he loves just playing and making up his own experiments. It’s exactly what I was I looking for. A great way to introduce lab science to young children. Most of these style toys are geared towards older kids. Thank you for making science accessible for my toddler.

Nice but does not come with any ingredients

This is well made and the pieces are a good size for younger kids to handle. I thought it might come with some kind of ingredients packets to make it seem more like a “real science kit” that her older sister had. Even just some flavouring or jello powder. It was lucky that I had some of the things needed on hand so that we could make something right away.

Game changer

My toddler had always loved playing with water/water table but as her interest started waning, I found this kit and I tell you she barely stops playing with it! It keeps her occupied from snack time to lunch time, while I make dinner, while my husband and I chat in peace... It is the best toy. We did apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to the syringe to make it easier for her to use and it did the trick. I love watching my mini mad scientist at work!

Not actually sweets

I thought you'd be able to make sweets but it's just a box of moulds and recipes are mostly how to make frozen coloured water shaped / frozen yoghurt shapes. Not what I expected at all.

Great toy

My son really enjoys playing with this at Bath time - he’s nearly 6 and a lot of Bath toys are too young for him but this is really good and is entertaining him well - good idea to have a think about ‘potions’ that can be made with different colour soap products. We used some coloured Bath salts and shaving foam

Great slime toys

Great kit for playing with slime, my daughter had hours of fun. There is no slime that comes with this kit but has a book of recipes.
