The quiet aerator of choice

After trying a few brands, this is the one that works. True laminar, quiet, and ideal flow rate - not too much and not too little. Works well with tankless water heater. I use it in the kitchen and bathroom. If you take the plastic insert out and put it into existing metal sleeve, it fits all faucets i have. Grohe, hansgrohe and others.

Works well, but no accountability & transparency for health

On the front of the packing there is a small "lead free" symbol. But on the back there's also a California Prop. 65 warning saying there's (presumably) lead in it. Searching around doesn't yield any results as to whether this is 4%, 0.25%, or whatever other threshold they use to define "lead free". They just hide behind vague statements like, it's compliant with certain requirements etc. (which tend to be very generous on the allowable lead content). So I'm not saying this is bad, or guaranteed to be dangerous. But just that I haven't been able to receive assurance of otherwise.
