Multiple units, same failure, dangerous once fails.
Here the story, almost a year ago we re-modeled our bathroom. I had ran across this switch when picking out a vent fan/light and thought it would work perfectly since we also had a vanity light and we wanted to control them all seperatly. Fast forward about 7 months later and the top lightswitch had broken loose. So I got a new one and swapped them out. Fast forward another 4 months and the second switch broke the exact same way. Against my better judgment I bought the same switch a third time... Well imagine my surprise when this one broke after only two weeks, and again in the exact same way. Basically it's a poorly designed switch. The plastic on each switch panel around the little peg that it rotates around when you turn each switch on and off is way too thin and brittle and just snaps off. In the picture I submitted, you can see because one of the retention tabs have broken off of the center switch and now it is popped out further than it is supposed to. Based off of the last two switches, once this happens, the switch will still function for a day or two until the other retention tab breaks then the switch part falls out and you can no longer shut that device off. Also at that point there is exposed metal inside of the switch body which can cause serious injury if you were to reach up and touch the switch again. It's crazy that I've had three of these all fail within the same year, it is clearly an absolutely terrible design and nobody should waste their time and money on this switch. The only reason I gave this switch 1 star is because Amazon does not allow you to give an item a negative or even a zero star score. The only positive I can find with this switch is that you will get plenty of practice swapping them out if you keep buying the same one. For the 4th switch, I actually found a different brand (and verified its a different design not just a rebranding) TL:DR = poor design, high rate of failure, extremely dangerous once fails.

WORTH IT!
Leviton is a quality brand, worth the upcharge vs all these no-name cheap switches. Don’t skimp on electrical! Used to replace dated 1970s Broan bathroom light/vent/heat switch. Looks and works great. You supply the decora style wall plate.

Leviton 1755-w switch
This is a excellent switch. The switch does not have allot of depth to it which allows you to have more room for the wires that go behind the switch. Its hard to find a switch like this. When you have 3 wires stuffed in a small electrical box there is not much room. This switch helps solve that problem. It also has the easy way to attach your wires to the switch. You just plug the wirers into the switch. Real simple. I have not had any trouble with this switch. If it goes bad on me I will change my review on this product.
