Perfectly functional... just what I was looking for.

I was looking for a single outlet for a electrical box project and this one was a good fit. As I didn't have a 1 3/4" hole punch, I had to improvise on cutting the right size hole for mounting. After completing my project, I plugged an outlet tester into this socket and noticed that the socket had very tight contacts as I had to push pretty hard to get the tester into the socket. At least I know that there is a very good electrical connection when I plug something into it...much unlike some of the outlet strips that are made in China that have very little resistance when plugging something in which results in poor electrical connections. I would not hesitate to purchase another one of these when the need arises.
