does come up

it will start to work it’s way out of the ground when it rains a couple times but thats which any hole in the ground. but otherwise i use it for my dogs leash and it works just fine!

Ain’t getting pulled out by my doberman

Strong, robust, easily visible, not a worry in the world of my dog yanking this out of the ground. I have an 80+ lb doberman that is strong, so no more worrying about her running down the street with her yard anchor in tow.

Extremely hard to screw into the ground... But I live in Las Vegas, so the solid here is thick clay and rocky.

Works great

Bought this for my dog because I bought one from the store and it did not survive the weed wacker. But I'm not the one who does my grass I pay somebody to. And they might have rented over with their lawn mower I'm not sure. So the old one got bent this one is flat with a ground and weed wackers or lawn mowers can mow right over top of it without any problems. But make sure you disconnect your lead from it before you do any yard work.

Great Anchor

I used this 10 inch spiral anchor to secure a terracotta hose pot (for hiding the garden hose) in my front yard. It serves this purpose very well, especially the way the folding ring lies flat, so it doesn't interfere with the way the hose coils. Pot is now solidly secure. No moving it around when pulling on the hose and no one walking off with it. It was a bit difficult threading it through the drain hole and straight into the ground, but I found that by installing it first without the pot and using a wrench a provide leverage for screwing it in, I was able to remove it and reinstall it much easier in the same hole and still had plenty of hold-down strength.

Great, low profile

I bought this to hook my puppy up in our backyard. I didn’t want one of the traditional corkscrew designs with the triangle at the top. This is low profile and my husband does not have to mow around it. You can’t even see it in the yard. The only hang up for me was I have a small dog and the hook was too small to attach to this. I had a carabiner on hand and that solved my problem. My husband did have to use a long pile to get some leverage to screw into the ground tightly. But, I know it is not going anywhere!

Exactly what I needed

I like that is low and doesn’t stick out. I need it so I don’t have to keep taking out when cutting the grass. It was a little hard to get into the ground
