works well
I do TIG so not much splatter. But these tapered sleeves go on snugly and protect you and your clothes from the weld shop environment.

Not One Size Fits All - Just One Size
Seems well made, but not one size fits all. I'm 6' 250 lbs - sleeves are too tight to fit and work comfortably.

As most said.....
So just opened them straight from the mail threw them on went to welding recieved 6/13/20 2:32 p.m al time zone. They seem alright fairly well made. As most said if you have big arms these are not for you. I barely got them past my forearms and had to force them up my bi&tricepts then flex hard to pop a couple threads so they fit nicely. They will probably prematurely fail because of my big arms but hey they work. Super light good for light duty welding like tig and short arc mig. Ive seen some reviews state burn through. They are fire retardant not fire proof fyi. If you want them to last longer get some spray startch like used for ironing clothes with, hang them up and spray them down fairly heavy and let dry. The startch is good for light coating long sleeved cotton shirts used for welding as well. It makes the weld bbs roll off without burn through. Anyways, ive never owned a pair of these before or even a pair of tig mig gloves etc. Ive always dealt with the burns due to being broke during my late teen years of welding. These are super nice though i suggest using for light welding as stated before though and grabbing a revco (bsx) welding jacket for heavier type welding. These are great for hobbiest not so much for full timers that weld for a living other than light duty. Im sure at some point some snatch straps cut down will be needed before long to hold the sleeves up on my arms but overal wont be money wasted. This is my own opinions and thoughts others may differ. Some protection from the uv rays of welding is better than none though.

Burns through quite quickly
Works very well for any work below chest level, but any higher than that literally anything falling in the crook of my left arm burns through quite quickly and I didn't even bother with trying it for overhead. Can't really complain though, I stay so much cooler than when using full jackets or leathers that the tradeoff is worth it. Definitely a good buy if you are working in hot climates.

No more hot jacket in the summer.
These are much better than putting a jacket on for normal welding. I have used them dozens of times and no holes burnt in them yet. I feel the heat on my chest after a while but not my arms, so they’re doing the job well.

Sleeves used to be half leather, now it’s all some kind of canvas material
I bought these sleeves probably around 5 years ago and loved them as the leather material would run right up to the bottom of my shoulders. It protected my arms from a lot of burns & slag dropping. I haven’t used this version of them yet but they feel as if they’d burn through quite a bit easier than the leathers did. Unfortunately the material changed but the price is still the same.

Para mi me quedaron ligeramente chicas
Mido 1.82mts y soy de complexión normal, sin embargo en ambos resortes los siento ligeramente apretados, no lo suficiente para afectar la circulación de sagre o hacerlas muy incómodas, pero sí no es lo que a mi me gustaría en lo personal. También en la longitud me gustaría que fueran unos 10 cm más largas. Me gustaría fueran más holgadas sin llegar a caerse. Fuera de eso bastante bien el material y el diseño. Por el precio sí te sacan del apuro. Son de algodón grueso, como si fuera de mezclilla, están bien.

Stiff cotton
I cannot comment on suitability for protection for welding protection. I bought these sleeves as arm protection when doing deep frying when wearing sleeveless outfit. Material : stiff cotton - will not give 100% protection if you get hot oil spilled on your arms -hopefully sufficient to protect from minor splattering oil.
