Adequate for bagging cat waste.

Litter Genie Refill Bags works according to need, but when first opened, it's sometimes hard to find the edge of the plastic, before making it into a bag. If there was a pull tab (red color, for example) to indicate that, it would be a great improvement. I've had to pull out a goodly amount before finding the starting end. There have been rare times when I couldn't find it at all and I end up having to double up the bag, thus using the product twice as fast. Also, when it's starting to run low on the plastic, there's a black line that alerts you. However, I have no idea how many inches I have left before it runs out. Usually, once I see that line, I will change it for a new one, but then I'm wasting plastic that could be used. It would be nice if there was a number that shows exactly how many inches I have left so that I could continue using up to that point. If the manufacturer is already marking the end of the plastic with a black line, how much harder would it be to put a number in there? I've not found anything on the packaging that indicates what's left of the bag, so FYI to the people responsible for quality control and design and are looking for ways to make it even better. Because we have 6 cats, however, I go through these quite frequently. Not sure if it's feasible to make a version that has twice the amount of plastic, but it sure would be nice if there were. Overall, using Litter Genie Refill Bags has worked according to specs, but there are, at minimum, two obvious needs for improvement.

Litter Genie refills

Litter Genie has changed my life. I used to use plastic grocery bags to collect the clumps and poo out of my cats litter boxes . The Litter Genie collection bags keep the smell contained and holds a good amount of waste. I just tie the bag off, knot the new bottom and push the new section down . I give this bagging system 5+ stars.

Perfect fit and lasts a month with two cats

Fits the genie perfectly. Each one lasts our two cats a little over a month. Greatly reduces smell, practically airtight.

Contains the smell and keeps it in a nice plastic bag. The cats and I both love it. I have purchased the off brands before; but they didn't work as well.

Sanitary litter disposal

A friend introduced the litter genie system 8 years ago and we have been pleased with it ever since. We now frequently scoop the cats’ litter box. They are happy. And we are happy because there is no odor. The bag material is strong and has never leaked or broken. All in all a good product.

20 días continuos sin olor

Un cartucho de estos me dura casi 16 semanas, el doble de lo que indica el fabricante. Parte del rendimiento se logra cerrando la bolsa cuando ésta esta totalmente llena; en el caso de mi gata eso son 20 días. Lo mejor es que durante esos días no se produce ningún olor. Varias personas que visitan mi apartamento se asombran que no se note olor a “gato”. He visto que varias personas se quejan que es difícil encontrar el borde de la bolsa en un nuevo cartucho, y si no se hace bien se pierde el cartucho. Puedo decir que las dos cosas son falsas; es fácil encontrar el borde y solo una vez que lo hice sin fijarme saqué de manera errada parte del plástico, una vez encontrado el borde fue muy fácil volver la bolsa al cartucho. Puede parecer un poco costoso con respecto a una bolsa plástica normal, pero tener la tranquilidad de no tener olores no tiene precio; con bolsas normales me tocaba sacar a diario la bolsa a la caneca exterior del edificio. Ahora solo lo hago cada 20 días.

Huge price increase

These refills are a decent way of dealing with litter for indoor cats, but the pricehas shot up recently. Las t time (August 2020)I paid £33, this time £45 for the identical 4 refills, a price hike of almost 40%. Ibought them as I needed something, but with time to think and source an alternative, i don't think I will be repeating this purchase.

As an import from out of the UK this will cost you more than advertised price.

Does what it says but very very expensive. Advertised price does not mention import and handling charges amounting to £11.99. May see if I can buy these in the uk for a more reasonable price but if not will use ordinary bags in future.

Muy caros

En durabilidad y calidad es muy bueno, la bolsa es muy resistente y no deja pasar lo olores, lo único malo es el precio, los repuestos son muy caros, cómo tip, yo en lugar de nudos utilizó pequeños cinchos así no se utiliza tanta bolsa para anudar. Otro tip, espera a que Amazon tenga descuento de la bolsas de repuesto para comprar.

Shame about the cost but definitely worth getting
