Works well! Nice high waist. Comfy around thighs.

I bought two- the latte & the black pair. I bought a size Large, as I have 41” hips, and 37” waist. It takes a minute to go over my hips and lower stomach, but once on it’s fine. I’m short waisted, so this goes nearly up to my bra. (I’m 5’2”). It’s not super tight around my thighs. It has the silicone around the waist band to keep it in place. The crotch is cotton, so you could wear this without underwear. Or, to keep from washing it too much, you can wear it over your underwear. I washed them in the washer and hung them up to dry. I had no issues, but you might just want to hand wash them. Very nice quality, and it’s definitely good at controlling your middle. Made zipping up my shorts easier. My middle looks smoother in clothes, too. I probably could have sized up, but Large isn’t too uncomfortable.

Seems like a well made product. However, it is too short for my torso, as I am 5'10". Will have to return.

I have bought several different brands of shapewear over the years, none of which I've worn more than once. I've never found a shapewear that could tuck my tummy in and not be tremendously uncomfortable. I just couldn't justify forking over big dollars for some of the other name brand pieces which might not work. So, after reading some of the reviews and scouring the internet for the best budget friendly shapeware, I decided I'd try the Maidenform Flexees. I'm quite certain if my husband had been watching me attempt to get into these briefs he would've ran crying - in laughter! I ordered a large because that's the size I normally wear (or a 12/14). I went to put them on and realized the name, Flexees, doesn't really do justice. Maybe brief/panty of steel would be better. I fought, wriggled, and wiggled until I finally had the garment pulled up and my post11-yr-old baby belly was finally the smoothest I'd seen in ages. I decided to try on my favorite jeans, which I had found to be fitting a little snug since the holiday, was actually loose. I'd say the Maidenform brief shrunk my gut by almost a dress size. That was pretty impressive in my opinion. The band of the briefs did no roll down as I found with other styles/brands. The legs were not too tight or uncomfortable. What I did not like was the sensation around my upper abdomen though. I don't like the feeling of anything pressing too tightly just below my rib cage. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to tolerate wearing the briefs for long because they felt so uncomfortable. The event came along, and I knew I'd be in these briefs for at least 6 hours, if not longer. I actually took an extra pair of panties along in my purse just in case I couldn't tolerate the shapewear. To my surprise, the longer I wore them, the better they felt; I ended up in them for about 8 hours. Taking them off was about as funny as putting them on - it took some effort - but donning them is definitely the hardest, however, it was worth the effort. I've worn these briefs several times now - I wash them in warm water and hang them to dry. If you've been searching for a budget-friendly shapewear which will not roll down, bind your legs, and keeps your belly tucked in, look no further! These are amazing - and I never thought I'd say that about an undergarment that looks like something I would've found in my grandmother's unmentionable drawer.

Does the job for the most part

It flattens my problem area and is decently comfortable. I fortunately it rolls down pretty easily if you are being active in them. But would be perfect if you're just walking around/sitting.

They are okay.

Not so much tummy flattening - more like tummy smoothing. Wore them to work. Was ready to get them off by the time I got home. The leg elastic was killing me. Will keep wearing them to get my money's worth but not sure that I'd recommend.

Better than described

Perfect fit and hold with no bulging. High enough for no muffin top. Extremely comfortable. Can not even tell I am wearing a shaper. Does not roll down like some I have tried. So perfect that I just ordered 2 more!!

Didn't fit as expected I'd probably try ones that go further down the thighs. Does fit well on my upper body..

Really great quality and holds you in. If you size down for tighter fit it’s a little snug around leg holes. But not terribly uncomfortable

Did the job!

I bought these to wear under my dress at my brother's wedding. I've never worn anything like this before. They fit well and smoothed things out. If you're looking for something that makes you skinny, try a corset because that's not what this product is designed to do. Going to the bathroom is interesting since they come up so high but it wasn't a chore or anything. I was very glad to take them off at the end of the day. I had nylons on, over them and that was a problem. The nylons would not stay up AT ALL. Every time I sat, the nylons rolled way down. I don't have this issue with regular panties so I assume the nylons just didn't have the same type of grip on the fabric of these as it would against my own skin. I wouldn't want to wear these regularly but for a special event they were great for giving a smoother dress line.

Too small for size 12 medium

I bought a size 12 medium which is what I wear on a day to day basis. It took me a very long time to get them on. When I eventually did I could not pull them up to my waist. It hurt my knickers line skin/bum cheek skin as the hem was so tight. It was very uncomfortable. Was not pleased with this item.
