Not one piece but seems sturdy overall 3

Figured wasn’t a one piece but the plate locking nuts keep coming loose under use. Should not do that, once tightened should stay that way. Deducted 2 stars as this cloud be safety issue.

Slightly disappointed

The bar is a 2 piece setup which is totally ridiculous. It has a collar in the center with a set screw that holds the 2 pieces together. No matter how tight you make it you can feel the bar moving at the joint which could become dangerous if it separated. I drilled the hole deeper, added a longer set screw and epoxied the pieces all together. We’ll see how it works. I’m disappointed in Marcy on this one.

You get what you pay for

This is not a good bar. it comes in two parts, and where they meet when assembled appears slightly off center (see picture), making it difficult to determine if the bar is truly balanced. The two sides do not fit together snugly giving the bar a wobble. The box it came in literally calls it a tricep curl bar lol. All in all, total junk, I bought it because I could not find another bar on Amazon that has steep angles like this one. I give it two stars instead of one because all in all, it was cheap and I have used it effectively for workouts. I got what I paid for.

WORTH IT!

Firstly this bar has held up great for around a month I curl 100’s with the bar and never once has it felt wobbly or like it will come apart A great upgrade to a home gym, I could see someone going up to 150 lb and the bar still being fine I’m not sure why so many people got “bad bars” for the price this is great! I think people expect it to be “gym quality” for a super low price wich isn’t possible. But all around this is a great bar!

I was thrilled to find this on Amazon because it was what I was looking for and the price was right. I was kind of disappointed that it came in two pieces that you have to screw together to make the whole bar. Because of that, it can get kind of wobbly when lifting. I guess I could try to make the screw tighter but overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Good Value

Product came as advertised. Shipped on time, delivered on time. Came in a nice package, with all the parts, easy to put together, easy to use. Pretty sturdy for a bar that connects in the middle, good value for the money. I would recommend this for a home work out, absolutely good for the biceps/triceps routines.

Good quality but.....

Pretty good overall quality...except for the fact that they cheaped out on adding an additional screw on the top connecter that holds the two pieces of the bar together. This would have made it more secure and solid. A older ergo Z-Bar I bought at Walmart a few years ago was much cheaper in price yet had a double screw connector. The build quality is great too. In fact, I'm still using it. Sign of the times I guess. Everything seems to be getting flimsier in build quality while going up in price. ☹

Very sturdy

Great bar for doing curls. The bar itself has some weight to it and adding or taking off extra weights is very quick and easy. The bar is well made, good product for the money.

Just ok

The bar comes in half and holds only with one screw. So far no accidents but it seems weird. The 2 screws that hold the weights on each sides keep loosing when using the bar which makes the weights shake. Plus there’s a type of metal in there that I believe is bad for your health.

Great product for building some are strength.

His is exactly what they said it was. Very good quality for your money. I looked everywhere and couldn’t find one. This came in less than a week. My husband loves it.
