My daughter (Newborn-Now 14 months old) has had this lamb since birth. She loves the thing. I gave it a 3 star review because while it’s precious and gets used every day in my house for nap time and bed time it only lasted us 12 months. The spring inside literally broke and stopped working. To buy another is expensive so here I am with a screaming child or pay more $$$ to get another one that might only last another year…. What then? Keep buying them each year… yikes.

terrible music box sound

The Lamb is great but the music is in a minor key and the music timing is off. The tempo of the music is that of a funeral procession, not the thing you want for a 2 year old. Maybe the box will go out and the soft Lamb will be the primary thing!

Good size, shape, and construction; seems durable.

I've shopped for lots of wind-up musical lambs and this was my favorite! I can't vouch for it's durability, but it seems like it was constructed well. It's very huggable and cuddly; seems like a good size and shape for children to love on. The plastic handle is large so toddlers can turn the crank, although there is a paper tag warning on it to not over-turn the crank as it could break. It only plays the verse of "Jesus loves me," not the chorus. Some wind-up lambs will play for a while after turning the crank; not this one, you get about 10-15 seconds of music for every half crank :-/ I do like that the coloring of the hooves is lighter than in the advertised photo. (The picture is of the lamb in the original packaging, beside a tissue box for size comparison).

Priceless

Softest, sweetest little lamb toy ever! The music is just as soft and sweet, Jesus loves me is the tune. I’ve even gotten FaceTimed videos of my great grandson snuggling this little lamb as he is drifting off to sleep. That’s why I say priceless!

Great for a small child!

My daughter received this same lamb 8 years ago, she still loves it. The reason why I bought another one for a friend’s new born. This is still a very cute lamb, but it is much smaller than the one my daughter has. We both love the lamb, the music sounds the same. Just an FYI to anyone else who is buying another one like I did.

Lovely melody... Wish it would last

It's such a nice tune and the way it comes out is so comforting, I loved sending my 2yo to bed with this toy... For 3 days. It is very easy to break by dropping or over winding (both of which, children do, wouldn't you believe it?) and this toy went from a lovely melodical lamb to an overpriced stuffed animal with a heavy chunk of plastic in it. We replaced it once, but the replacement lasted the same amount of time. If you're buying this for an adult, or a child who treats their toys with undue care, this is surely a great product! If you're buying it for a typical child who cuddles one minute and throws it out of their crib the next, then probably not.
