Keeps my stuff mine at the gym

This lock is not going to protect Fort Knox, but it's inexpensive and better than high school locker style rotary combo locks, and you can set your own combination. I'm sure it could be defeated, but it's fine for busy areas where a pick attempt would be obvious. Who wants to carry a key around at the gym? A good "honest people" lock at a good price.

If you want a lock that can be set to any 4 digits of your choosing than this is the lock for you. Also available with a longer shackle if needed.

sturdy and idiot proof

I bought these to replace outdoor locks. The old locks would change the combination if the shank was twisted the wrong way. These locks are a 'set and forget' without any danger of the combination changing and locking you out! Love them and will be purchasing more.

Daily use damaged locking capability

This was used on a connex, so multiple people could have access. Over time, the lock quit locking from use. There were multiple entries daily and it was out in the elements, but did work for a few months before issues arose. I would buy again, but not for use outdoors with extensive use.

It's great not having to carry around another key

A well built lock at a decent price. Easy to change the combination.

They work well

I haven't had these locks very long. However they are almost identical to two I bought over 25 yrs ago. I'm still using them today with absolutely no issues whatsoever. I put a drop or two of lubricating oil into them every year in the fall to prevent freezing. I say they are almost identical because the shackle is just a tiny bit longer and thinner than my original locks. I would still consider them a good medium security lock.

Not an easy lock

If you are looking for a simple combination lock, this isn’t it. It allows for a variety of letters and number for a 4 character code but when turning the combination the letters/number are NOT in order. For example the letter A maybe followed by the letter G or some other letter. Its not a quick and easy lock to undo. It is a very sturdy lock.

Feels like a really strong lock

Feels like a really strong lock, and it is at a really great price for a lock of this solid construction. The 4-letter combo is much easier to remember than numbers. The combo is on the bottom so it won't get wet. The dials are a little tough to turn because they are so small.
