Super Fun, Nice Quality, Similar to Barbie Color Reveals
My daughters (10 and 5) love the Barbie Color Reveal series and these are the same concept, so they are thrilled that they get a mystery Disney Princess. You can get one of 6 princesses (Belle, Cinderella, Tiana, Jasmine, Ariel, or Rapunzel), their pet pal from their movie, a ring, a skirt for the princess, and a crown for the princess. These are small dolls, not Barbie size. To do the color reveal, you will empty the jar, put the mystery princess in (you can kinda tell who it is because once you take it out of the bag, you can see the face sculpt even though the doll is covered in dissolvable paint), and fill it with warm water. Don't overfill it or the water will leak when you have to shake it. You'll twist the top on and shake it for about a minute, open it and pull the princess out. You'll need some paper towels handy to dry the doll off. The water turns pink and has a wavy effect which is satisfying to watch. Then you get to open the other plastic bags in the package to reveal the fabric skirt for the doll and the other surprises. The quality of the fabric is really nice, colorful, and decorated with things related to their movie. The skirt comes off, so if you have more than one of these, you can swap the skirts to give them a different look. The hair is all plastic, so it won't get frizzy. One last surprise is that the crown on the twist top comes off and you can use it as a comb for yourself and you can stick it in your hair and wear it as a crown. My girls really like these, they are a little expensive, but the funnest part is the surprise aspect. Afterwards, they can continue to play with the doll. I would get more of these. I bought 2 and we got two different princesses.

Cute but not worth the price
I grabbed this on a deal. In my opinion, it’s not even worth the deal price. There’s not really much you can do with the toy. We got Cinderella and she came with a Velcro skirt, a sidekick (Gus), the glass slipper and a pillow to put it on but it doesn’t stay on very well and a ring which is very small. The doll isn’t poseable or anything. Her head spins but that’s it. I’d rather spend the money on a Barbie next time.

A bit misleading
The title and photo are a BIT misleading, probably my mistake but I had assumed I was getting 6 of them. I ended up ordering my daughter 2 more though after the 1 came, and ALL 3 were Ariel, so that was pretty disappointing. Bad luck? Maybe but at this point I wont try again.

Disney Princess Surprise Doll
First thing, know that you are only getting 1 doll and then 5 accessories for that princess. If that is your expectation, then you won't be disappointed. It was really fun to open with my daughter. The pieces are really small, so I put up some of the accessories till she gets a little older (she is 2). If your child likes the surprise toys, then I definitely suggest this for a gift!

So much fun for my 5 year old but missing the frog
This was such a fun little activity for my 5 year old. She got it in her Easter basket and absolutely loved filled it with water and shaking to reveal one of her favorite Disney princesses Tiana! She was pretty disappointed when she noticed hers was missing the frog it was supposed to come with. Over all a lot of fun and a great little gift.

Small but fun reveal Disney princess surprise
This is fun princess reveal. It's pretty much a combination of Barbie doll reveals where you place the small doll into the container it came it with water to reveal which princess you got to the type of LOL packaging where you open multiple bags to see what is included. The reveal process was very fun for my daughters. They enjoyed adding water, the shaking/washing, and doing a countdown to see what they got. The princess doesn't articulate anywhere except for the head. The mystery accessories were a small side-character, a headband/crown, a trinket, a personal ring and a dress that wraps via velcro. Plus there is a personal tiara hair clip on the container that can be removed and worn. Most of the accessories are plain single color except for the dress and the side-character. Overall, this toy can be a bit expensive for the size but it's fun reveal and the princesses are cute. Great as a gift.

Small but fun
This is a very small gift/activity and would be perfect as a stocking stuffer, Easter basket, or a gift add-on. My daughter loves anything Disney Princess so this was perfect for her. My only complaint is that it is very small and we've lost it several times (because that's what kids do).

Fun for Kids, But...
This is a fun and cute activity and toy for a little kid to enjoy for a little while. This looks great in an Easter basket or in a stocking and will delight a kiddo who receives it. However, it's a very small set of toys and a very quick activity. The listing is a bit tricky, in my opinion, and the six princesses you could receive get blurred with the six items that actually exist in the tiny package, so consumers think they're getting a much better value than they are. You get one princess, a tiny tiara built into the packaging, and four additional accessories with the princess. I can't say that I would pick this up again. The mystery is not a big enough surprise to warrant the extra cost. If your kid craves a big reveal though, this might just be great for you! Enjoy!

A nice treat, but probably won't chase them all! :)
These make a good treat for fans of Disney Princesses. However, they do have a high asking price and with 6 to collect in a 'mystery box' style, it could get very expensive! ???? Opening up the tube, you get a number of sealed bags inside. One will be the princess, which is the main feature and she will be a solid colour initially. You place her into the tube you get with the set, fill it with water, put on the crown lid and give it a shake. The difference after a few seconds is striking! The princess will now be revealed with their original Disney colours and features. I would say that they look very good quality and highly detailed - which perhaps makes the price a little easier to accept. The other bags will collect a mixture of accessories (such as a tiara), clothing (such as a skirt) and a little pet friend (such as Pascal the Chameleon). I would say that the pets and clothing are very good quality, they look great, but the 'accessories' look a little like cheap Christmas cracker pieces and so I would probably not use these if displaying the princesses. Overall, it's a fun experience and they make nice pieces sat on a shelf.

Surprise Princess Reveal Makes A Fun Unboxing Experience... But Play Longevity May Be A Bit Limited
This is a fun gift for any Disney Princess fans out there but I'm not sure how much play it'll get after that unboxing. It follows the "surprise" toy format in that you don't know what you are getting. That may be fine the first time your child gets one, but if this is your second Royal Colour Reveal there is the risk of getting a duplicate figure - so if gifting, keep that in mind. Once the doll is placed in water, the "reveal" occurs and you find out who you have got, (though mini detectives who've seen the range might guess by the hair and the position the figurine is standing in - you have a 50:50 chance). Throw in a few accessories and the cute sidekick character and, although I think it is a touch expensive, (and I also thought a bit small - my daughter didn't seem to care), you have your Princess revealed set. It might not entertain for ages afterwards, but this is really more about the unboxing experience.

One of the better surprise toys out there, but a bit pricey!
Whilst not my favourite type of toy, the surprise toys are still all the rage with children and my 6yr old daughter in particular loves them. This one is a cut above the usual fare producing a nice looking Princess doll which can be displayed as a collectible. The gimmick with this one is a colour reveal - you open the Princess doll first and submerge in water. The coating dissolves and leaves a nice looking doll in a surprise outfit colour. You also get several surprise accessories for added fun. The outer packaging looks attractive, with a decorative Princess crown on top, so it would make a good gift. Whilst not the first item on my shopping list, I always end up with one or two of these type toys when my daughter inevitably requests them ahead of Christmas/birthday. As far as they go, this Disney one is good, although a touch more expensive than other less prestigious brands.

The reveal was fun
My eight year old absolutely loved the big reveal and watching the water turn pink. After opening up the tubs and opening the surprise bags, revealing a ring, skirt, mouse, glass slipper and pillow, my daughter knew she was getting a Cinderella. Very cute, simply fill the tube with water, give a little shake and watch the water turn pink, revealing a princess. The whole reveal process was great fun but in all honestly my daughter hasn’t played with the figure much afterwards. A bit of a novelty, slightly over priced but good fun.

Fun and exciting way to get a doll!
Surprise Barbie doll in a cute tub. The tub also comes with a cute golden crown that children can wear. This is a nice addition to the doll itself. The doll is a surprise and part of the appeal and fun in this toy is the reveal process and the excitement to see which doll you've got. A really cool Barbie doll idea that puts a new spin into getting a kid a doll, it is a bit more fun and exciting!
