BUY THIS BRACE!!!
OMG! Finally relief that's works & fits!! Sizing guide is accurate, fits snuggly and is not stiff on top the shoulder. I researched, hunted, purchased & returned, before finally deciding to give this one a go. Glad I did!! Moderate Degenerative ACJ with tendinosis of the Supraspinatus Tendon & damage of brachial plexus due to MVA.

It's a "Light" Support for a Reason.
This works great as a shoulder support with the key word being "support." It's not a shoulder brace and if you have any significant instability in your shoulder, you're more likely than not to be disappointed. Think of this being like a sling that allows you to retain your arm mobility. If you're having luck with kinesio tape, you may have good luck with this too. The support won't correct your mechanics or stop you from doing anything that may be painful for a bad shoulder, but it will provide just enough passive resistance to remind you that you have an injured shoulder or give you just enough support to make movements more comfortable. I'm actually wearing this for computer work. My injured shoulder gets tired at the end of the day and the support reduces the strain on my neck and shoulder muscles. The one criticism that I have about this support is the sizing. It's not sized for athletic builds so if you're fairly muscular and your chest measurements put you close to the cutoff between sizes, go with the larger size. I had to return mine and go with a larger size. I was a small according to the sizing chart, but my arm barely fit through the support and the underside dug sharply into my armpit when the support was pulled all the way up. Go a size up if it's a close call. You can always wear a T-shirt underneath and quite frankly you'll probably want to do that anyway if you will be wearing this throughout the day. The anchoring strap is not uncomfortable, but you wouldn't want it rubbing directly against your skin all the time. UPDATE: I've downgraded this after I found out I had an AC Joint separation and needed this to be more than just a nice stretchy fashon accessory. It was uncomfortable to wear it continuously. I could never get this to fit comfortably if I needed any compression at all out of it. I also found that some of the hand pain I was having may have been made worse by the shoulder support. The anchor strap the arm sits in a spot where it can really annoy your ulnar nerve. The anchor point should be higher to reduce the risk of ulnar nerve irritation. Also, I started to have really serious chafing problems (even with a shirt underneath) from the anchor strap the longer I used this.

Bought this to try and keep my shoulder nestled nicely in the socket after having ruptured my right long arm bicep tendon. Completely detached it, had surgery but opted to not have it re-attached due to the amount of time to be in a immobilizing sling not to mention the 6+ months of rehab time. Had authroscopic surgery to clean off the frayed end of the ruptured tendon, plus scrape of some bad cartilage which was chipping off the bone. So now the shoulder is kinda like a 2 legged stool since the bicep tendon is no longer attached at the front. This is all cool, and was back playing tennis after just 12 days after surgery but the down side has been they discovered a whole lot of arthritis and so at night, after lying down for an hour or so, the shoulder just starts to throb with pain. Stand up, shake it off and all is good until I go horizontal again. As you can imagine, this all make for some pretty lousy interrupted sleep unless I resort to a heavy dose of Ibuprofen, which I try not to do! So, I thought the issue is probably the sloppy shoulder joint, coupled with gravity and of course the less than anesthetizing body process while sleeping. So,....so far, it helps at least somewhat, though eventually the shoulder aches anyway, add to that the restriction of the brace itself and well...you get the picture. On the plus side, I now also wear it for tennis, over a compression shirt and under my tennis shirt and it helps to keep the shoulder in the pocket, not restrictive at all and less discomfort after playing. I'm still searching for shoulder Nirvana but for now this is a good addition to the tool shed.

Best Ever - Sturdy with NO Painful Buckles
Need to immobilize and ice for rotator cuff injury to heal. All others I tried have painful and irritating buckles in the armpit and chest strap. This is awesome - a sealed sleeve you slide arm in. To adjust is velcro on outer side of shoulder....brilliant. Same on shoulder strap too....no painful buckles. Only caution is size up. I am 5'3 and the chest strap on the medium just makes it. Should have gotten large.

Good product.
If worn too long the strap chafs across the chest.

Does the trick
I have problems with my shoulders popping in and out of their sockets, or worse, just loitering half-in half-out. This support really helps. As an example, I went away for the weekend, slept badly on my arm overnight, and yesterday could barely use my arm all day and was in a lot of pain. When I got home in the afternoon I put the support on, wore it until I went to bed, by which time my shoulder was still sore but getting better. Today my arm is as good as new! It would be full marks but for two points. 1) It's damn hard to put on when you have a bad shoulder. I just have to grit my teeth and know it's worth the extra discomfort for a moment. 2) It's not great for ladies. I'm a larger lady, however, with a 40F chest, so possibly a less busty lady would get on better with it. That said, it's still usable, just a little awkward. And I didn't see any product that I thought looked more suitable than this one for that particular problem.

My brace
I'm so grateful for the speedy delivery, received the next day after ordering instead of next week thank you ???????? because my left shoulder has been killing me. An old shoulder injury that flared up recently after waking up, so i guess I'd slept badly on it and it hasn't gone since, something's popped I can hear it click. I'm tired of taking tablets for it and there the pain still lurks. With this covid-19 pandemic, it's not easy to see a gp. Like the old saying you get what you pay for, and with this being so expensive, let's see how I go with this support brace.???????? It's comfortable to wear, it fits well and it does take the pressure off my shoulder, that's a good start. This brace does work, I had taken it off for a brief moment and my shoulder felt fine, no aches or pains, so I'm very pleased & relieved.

Excellent product for moderate shoulder support
I'm male with a 41" chest. I dislocated my right shoulder around 15yrs ago and for last 5 years I've been having soreness in my shoulder and it's getting worse. I ordered the large shoulder support first after researching online and seeing the McDavid model the best for the price. I thought I'd rather have a little too big than too small. Mistake!. But no problems as a Prime member the return was easy. I ordered the medium and it fits like a glove. It provides a feeling of security and yet allows me full range of motion. It is easy to put on except for the final Velcro portion where you need to reach well over your right shoulder with your left hand to set the Velcro tight. If you have someone to assist you it would help. If you have problems with flexibility in both shoulders assistance would pretty much be a necessity if you follow the instructions for wearing the support. But it does wash nicely in soap and water. Yes, it does feel a somewhat uncomfortable in the armpit, so I always put on a tight t-shirt before the support. That also help top absorb sweat. A very good product for moderate shoulder support.
