Fun for beach trip

These rackets were a fun addition to our pool/beach toys for 5/6 yo kids. Held up to 2 weeks of play & hopefully more sunny fun next year.

Substituted a Different Ball than the Two Included with the Paddles

I should have read the reviews before purchasing this item! However, I found a good solution. The two ping pong type balls bounce in and out of the nets. I knew that would frustrate my granddaughter. It frustrated me! I went to Walmart and perused the toy section. I found a small, squishy ball. Now the nets are just fine for catching a squishy ball. The toy should be useable and fun now.

so cute and well made

We just love Melissa and Doug toys because they are well made and help kids develop motor skills. We have bought before and will buy again. This shark toy is for our grandsons 4th birthday. He loves everything shark for right now so when we saw this item we had to get it. We also got him a pool which we gave to him a month early because it's been so hot, but the shark toy looks like it would be fun in the pool or out of the pool. We know it will be a hit.

Get different balls if you have younger children

I will get different balls. I have a 15 month old that wants to play with my 3 year and the balls in this set are foam. Other than that the set is a fun pool toy!

These are fun depending on the child’s age. I got them for my niece and nephews (ages 4, 6, and 7) and they played with them once for about fifteen minutes and they were never touched again. They aren’t made out of the best quality materials, which is disappointing because it’s Melissa & Doug. I think it depends on your child on how this toy will go over.

Net not deep enough

It’s too hard to get the ball in because the net isn’t deep enough! :(

My little 6 year old boy loves this set. Safe, easy to put away and its a fun way to have an activity for outside our inside play.

The nets aren't deep enough.. the balls bounce right out

Plastic & cheap

Returned. Was not impressed considering its a M&D item. It’s hard plastic, the net was small and barely fit the ball. And for the cost of the item, not worth it.
