An absolutely fabulous Moen product!

This was a fantastic option to order a brushed gold Moen drain for a significantly reduced amount! It featured overnight delivery, which was an absolute plus. It matched the other Moen fixtures perfectly. I am so thankful that this was an option!

Perfect fit, gorgeous polished brass

The genuine Moen part is thick brass, beautifully polished and apparently lacquered. The Moen website says this part (102763P) is discontinued, so maybe it isn't true that "brass is back" after all. Too bad: we love it. Each drain cover came with two #10 screws (brass plated with machine threads for some unknown reason). With some pressure, these short screws did thread into untapped holes in the PVC drain housing. The polished brass finish is so pretty, and these had no scratches at all. The appearance makes an instant upgrade to the shower. We will remove the brass drain covers whenever using strong cleaners or scrub brushes, to avoid damaging the tarnish-preventing lacquer. Hopefully these will last a lifetime, and they'd better if they are truly discontinued.

Dark brass not gold

Item is a dark brass and I searched the world for the remaining drain parts that this would fit in and couldn’t but it’s good heavy metal

Great color and finish! Will review after a few months of use!

We have been searching for a matte black shower drain cover, and have tried several that are semi-gloss covers. The problem is that the cover is a high traffic area. Granted it is from bare feet, but it still can get scratched. SO, this is the perfect solution for our issue and the fit is perfect as well. Our existing shower drain measured 4 inches, and this fits just right.

Overpriced

Had a chrome fixtures in the shower and bought this to match our new brushed nickel Moen fixtures. It matches fine, but the bang for the buck is not there. If $10 or less, I would’ve felt more justified in the purchase. Plus, the screws that came with the Moen are wider than what we’re already in place, so had to find replacements.

SOLID!! Heavy duty and beautiful.

My original order didn’t have the screws. So i contacted Moen and they sent me a whole new set WITH another drain cover! Couldn’t believe it!! Amazing customer service. Guess that’s why we pay a premium price for the product. But this drain cover is solid metal. It’s very heavy duty. I see this lasting a long time! **Ignore the dirty tile in my photo. We just grouted lol

Item does not match the detail measurements given in description. Screwholes NOT 3 3/8" apart

It did NOT fit the drain for which I had ordered it which NEEDS a cover with 3 and 3/8" screw hole center to center. As you can see it is advertised as a 3 and 3/8" center to center screw hole but my photo shows that the screw holes are merely 2 and 9/16" or possibly 2 and 5/8"center to center and what's more there is no more than 2 and 7/8" max between any other holes. Note that in the advertising photo the screwholes appear to be spaced farther apart than any other holes but my photos clearly show the holes for screws are not as far apart as the ones pictured on the Amazon description. Quite disappointed because the appearance and quality of the drain cover seems above average had it matched the screw hole measurements. Much thicker cover that the drain cover it was supposed to replace. The thinner drain cover was bendable it was so thin. I'll see what Moen has to say about the availability in their inventory of a true to measurements drain cover

A package arrived was missing the screws, I was supposed to return it, but I decided to keep it and buy the screws separately.
